OT post but I hang out here the most, so thought I'd share....
I've put up my 7.2 GT3 for sale after I bought a 7.1RS today! ~20k mi, Clubsport, loaded with carbon inside and in mint condition. Couldn't be happier and it'll make an even better companion to my incoming T.
Just looked at your build. Two additional thoughts to consider:
- Exclusive Design wheels looks awesome with GT Silver
- Even without surround view, you still get proximity sensors and a backup camera. I don't feel like I'm missing anything valuable by not having surround view.
The surround view for the price is money well spent and I love this feature. Recommend it to anyone on the fence.
Tires on my production shows goodyear F1, my built went in production on 2/19/24 nevertheless im happy with this color and cant wait! Just wanted to share! Aero kit with the exclusive silver tips, side skirts, no sunroof, goodyear f1 tires, ras,

You got yourself a serious hardware @Wilder, congrats!

Thank you kindly. The fact that a 992 Carrera T with the base engine can give this thing a run for its money says a lot about how far the 911 has evolved in just 15 years.

I find it hard to believe just from the words coming from the engineering team. At the end of the day, they will say whatever to sell you stuff, stuff you might think you need but you don't. Ultimately it's down to getting your hands behind the wheel to tell the differences and decide if you need it. The best comparison to date for me is Matt, the Smoking Tire's recent video of driving the S/T & GT3 back to back. For normal street use even including some canyon driving, it's down to how much effort you want to put in and what driving means to you. Follow your heart when making the choice.
Interesting details on RAS from Porsche engineer. Start the video at 7:05. Maybe this will help some folks who are on the fence about RAS.
It has been previously posted in this thread though it might be helpful to any newcomers. 🤷♂️
