I plan to have them activated to European spec at some point too. I did this with my 2023 GTI and it fantastic how well it worked.

would have added LWB seats and Bose but they were unavailable for MY2023, so I saved my $ for Apex forged wheels, Girodisc rotors, Pagid RSL29 pads, Sharkwerks sport exhaust, and Soul 200 cell cats.

Given that the base on early 2023 Ts was nearly $10k less, none of us post price increase can even touch that. This is exactly why when I began this inquiry, which btw was simply out of interest/fun, I mentioned specifically “post price increase.”

No hate, those of us ‘24 owners were able to option Bose at the adjusted price increase plus $1600 (Bose). 🤣

the base sound system is atrocious, it’s the only time Megadeth doesn’t sound badass!

RAS makes huge difference on a mountain road. I would order it again. Bose stereo is absolute yes. The base stereo is horrendous. They need to make it the standard radio the Bose like the corvette c8.

I have the glass sunroof and I really enjoy it almost every time I take the T out for a drive.

The mounts for the accessory rails is a nice feature to add bike racks or a travel box - or skis.

also the camera prep seems like a necessary cheap option.

surroundview is a great option and helps to keep from damaging your car while parking. Is your wife going to drive the car? Gals love driving over parking curbs-/ it will pop up the video when it senses a curb. What does it cost to fix your front end or your back of your car or worse a wheel or two on a planter? My 2024 GT3 doesn’t have the surroundview and the odds of damaging the car are much higher than on my less expensive T.

One option that is not necessary is the front end lift. Look under cars with the lift and they are always damaged as owners don’t have the discipline to drive in and out of driveways at a steep angle and slowly. Unless your own driveway is very steep - the gps feature is rather useless. What it needs is a sensor that lifts the car automatically if you confront a steep driveway or a speed bump.

lane change assist is another necessary option unless you enjoy meeting body shop owners.

keep in mind that any body work will result in a ding on the carfax which will cost you more on resale than the surround view and lane change assist.

The GT3 also does not have the lane change assist which is really silly. A$250,000 car could use both of these options to protect this expensive vehicle.

Folding mirrors - is also a necessary option to protect the mirrors from Moms in their husbands dually truck in a parking lot.

The cosmetic options are for fun - but these technology utility options seem necessary and Porsche should make them all standard equipment as most much lower cost cars have these already as standard equipment. Corvette C8 just added all these driving safety features as standard equipment on the 2024 C8.

The fire extinguisher is a cheap fun option - provides a splash of red in the cabin for $180.

the memory seats are nice but not necessary really.

Buckets are annoying eventually. Climbing over the side bolsters gets annoying and almost impossible to keep from wearing out the leather from your butt sliding across.

unless you are truly going to track the car extensively / the regular seats will save you money as you will keep the car a lot longer.

i had to trade in my 2022 GT4 after 2,000 miles as the bucket seats were just too much trouble. Cost me a ton of money on lost sales tax etc.

Totally SMH on this one as the vast majority of us here are probably not newbie drivers and are also probably old enough to have gone most of our driving lives without the need of blindspot detection (LCA) via properly adjusted exterior mirrors. Really a non-issue for most licensed drivers because if it was a real issue I grant you the Feds would mandate it to be standard equipment like backup cameras were beginning with all MY 2018 vehicles.

Honestly I really don’t know lol . In all the cars I’ve had I never got into sound systems . I think the only major Audio upgrade I’ve ever done was a flip out tv in my scion tc back in 2006 so I’m very out of touch of what speakers could or should cost ………

There is a fantastic upgrade for the base 911 speakers by a company called Focal.
They are specifically for 992s and only 911 were made.
Just recently the price has dropped a lot at least in the UK to £3,600 ($4,500) and probably everywhere since Bose became available again.
