Both in the same spectrum.
GT4 is more track oriented.
T is more road oriented.
GT4 engine is not in the same league as the GT3 engine and gears are too tall.
T is turbo but feels NA and it's a proper 911.
Thanks for taking the time to reply - I've been fortunate to own a 718 GT4 from new and is now two years old, so I'm looking to see what to change to next and on paper the T would seem like a good fit...but don't want to make a decision until I've had the chance to drive one, so looking for insights from others.

Got a text from a Cali store today with a T allocation, they're asking 5k over MSRP.

My ‘24 T (Nov build) is missing
a) the 20sec Sports Response button on the Sports Chrono steering wheel mode switch
b) electronic tlit/telescope steering wheel which should be part of the 18-way seat package

Is this expected and is there anything I can do about it? Thanks!

@stonekutter a) Can't help you.
b) I have 18 way seats and I never thought or was lead to believe the steering wheel rake and distance adjustment were electronically adjustable?
The steering wheel is adjustable manually by lever under the wheel. It can be adjustable electronically, but I am not sure how you spec that, as it is
not on the UK configurator anyway ( Different Markets do have variation to specs) In the owners Manual instructions are to found on Page 65.for both
manual and electronic adjustment My car definitely has a manual lever for adjustment under the steering wheel. Best Devon Racer.

A) is your car manual or PDK? I believe only PDKs have that. Manuals come without it (see sport classics for example). The only manual car I’ve seen with it is the gt3

I don’t own a GT4 or 718. I do however own a 981 S that is track prepped along with a recently acquired 2023 T. Both in manual. It’s hard to compare the two cars as they are so different.

The visceral feel of a naturally aspirated flat 6 with FVD headers and exhaust, IPD, and tune make it sounds feel mind blowing.

However, the T with RAS felt as nimble or more on the tail of the dragon which I had the pleasure of driving through after I picked up my T. The T is confidence inspiring, full spot. The “electronic” grip, along with the mechanical grip makes turn in unbelievable.

Both cars are different and incredible in their own right. I’m fortunate to be able to keep and drive both. But if I had to choose, I would probably choose the T. So thankful I don’t have to choose now.

I hope this helps.

I hate to tell you but you were not using RAS much if at all on the tail of the dragon! Sorry it doesn’t work at those speeds. 😇. RAS is either high speed (track) or low speed (party trick).

this is what I did adding the fire extinguisher as well. All the red options. It’s amazing. I did the trim and the hard shell red seatbacks too. 0 regrets

I can't find the exact thread but IIRC Comfort Access + 18way includes easy entry and exit including an electronic steering wheel which goes in and moves up to help you exit. I've seen this on earlier (2020/21) 992s and there were posts of this item missing due to parts/supply shortages.

Congradulations! Are you changing the side markers soon or staying OEM retro?

Default 718 GT4 vs 992 T

I currently have a 23 718 GT4 and a 23 992 T. I previously had a 16 981 GT4. In short, both are amazing cars but the GT4s feel more raw, analog, mechanical, precise and direct. The 992 T is a great car but more of a comfortable touring car. I tracked the 981GT4 and frequently track the 992 T.
