I confirmed with my SA that my car is indeed on the Siem Confucius.

I don't know what your trying to argue, or if you're just being contrary. Scroll back up through the posts - I used the word "if." There was an example a few months ago of a T (in this thread) with body panels sheered to extract headlamps in a port facility. I don't know if it was destination or origin, but the point is, things can and sometimes do happen whether by accident or by malice, and if so, the car probably does not get on the boat.

I'm not arguing about frequency. Anyway...

Not arguing, simply stating a fact as the concern for terrorism is a real issue at shipping ports so security is rather tight. They are also considered international trade zones so government regulations are in place as well.

Carriers generally discontinue the “free” civilian maritime tracking after X amount of time from departing ports.

Current location as of 3:50p EST.⬇️

Why don’t you move to ‘the waiting thread’instead of a play by play clogging the T thread?!? Also real time tracking is totally available, you just pay for it! Tyd is in fact totally worthless once your car is on a ship. Mic drop.

Great suggestion but no, this involves my T 😁…Did you not comprehend my text. Re read and you’ll feel better. Opps just one more “ clogging, worthless thread”. Won’t happen again. Ok Lets get back to what’s “my favorite color, luggage or teddy bears””. 🎤+1

TYD was actually pretty accurate for me, all along the process. I got an allocation 1.5 mos before it locked. The time I was promised at *allocation* was accurate within ~2 weeks. The time I was promised from *lock* was accurate within a week. From "I'm on a boat" was early by 2 days.

I got lucky that I was at Emden for one day.

How many owners are we now? There used to be a list with color in this thread (not the color poll).

Good question Macboy!
I’m also curious to know the breakdown of MT v PDK!
In the whole of the UK there are just 3 MT 992 Carrera T’s on sale.
As a proportion (probably due to scarcity) they are selling and prices holding up much better than PDK’s!
