992 Carrera T Club
PTS Color
TYD just updated my dates. March freeze and June delivery.
I have selected ocean sea blue metallic for the paint but also really liked lighter green. Car will have the aero kit in high gloss black.
Has anyone seen cars in either of these colors? Thoughts?

What car do you have coming, a GT3? Every 911 model I checked on showed no available PTS.

Three Wheelin'
Please see the colors with your own eyes to decide i.e actual paint swatches in larger format. Don't trust photos. Lighter Green is very much to your face type of color while Ocean Sea Blue Metallic is very low key color. Two opposite spectrum. What do you like vs your personality is more important.

Thoughts on ice grey metallic with green T interior package? Ice grey seems to have a blue hue which might conflict with the bright green accent color. Anyone have that combo?

My freeze date is April 25 and production will complete June 6. I am waiting on confirmation of my European Delivery date, which if it happens will probably be in August.
I can't see this working. You'd be much better off with the slate grey interior package. If you want green inside, in my opinion the exterior should be green (unfortunately no longer available), black, white or yellow.

Hey folks! Been enjoying my life with the Carrera T for the past few weeks so much that I figured I should invest in a radar detector. I got a Uniden R8 which just arrived in the mail.... and I realized I have no idea how to install it.
I haven't wanted to hardwire the system, but am starting to realize it might be difficult not to. What have people done? Blendmount seems like an option? Has anyone just plugged it in and gotten on with it?
Would love to hear all of your thoughts!!

Yes, if you are doing PTS, don’t be boring.
Think IROC.

Or think Le Mans 917 ( the greatest sports racing car ever?) so Gulf blue, or Orange.
Anyway, you get my drift, I hope.
It is only my opinion but I don’t think it is worth doing PTS for a subtle shade of metallic blue or grey.

I find IGM to be a special color that looks best with monochrome accents like Agate and black. I saw an IGM 992 with red accents and it looked great. Blue could work too.

I finally hit step 3 this evening. What a long journey from July 2023. It's feeling even more real now. 80 days to go before it's in my hand. Just in time for spring!
