992 Carrera T Club

I have ordered mine in Shark Blue and am going to stick with it. I think the T looks best in the bright, "skittles" colors. In my order of preference: shark blue, ruby star neo (I think RSN will go down as a legendary and sought after color for the 992 T but I am hesitant to pull the trigger because it is the only color I've never seen in person), python (also a future legendary color), guards red, and racing yellow.

Am I the only one going with a carmine red T??

And yes, metal sunroof goes against the Ethos. Then again, its the one of the only options August Achleitner has on his 991.2 T
"In the last half-year, I almost only drove a Carrera T [with a] manual and I love this car," Achletiner added. "It's just pure. The only option I have beside the navigation system is a sunroof. Wonderful." - Road and Track

Carmine is a beautiful color and I think works really nicely with the Titanium Grey on these. The preparation for Porsche dashcam is a confusing option still because people aren't finding pre-wiring in the car and dealers are still quoting a monstrous amount of labor hours to install the Porsche dashcams which I'm not convinced are any better than the aftermarket options. Might be worth some research into that.

Three Wheelin'
Chalk will look great. I am going with Ice Grey Metallic. In person (on a Taycan), Ice Grey Metallic looks nothing like the configurator. On the configurator it looks silver. However, in real life, it is white with cool blue grey tones that I think (hope) will look really cool with the grey bits. A bit monochrome and will blend in with the sea of grey and white cars but I like to be a bit subdued.
These are my favorite two color options as well. I'd like to see the ice grey in person. Chalk in gloomy weather takes on an almost taupe characteristic to my eyes, but in sunshine or at night looks amazing. Ice gray looks clean in any light. Tough choice. If arctic grey or a medium grey metallic were available without paint to sample I'd probably go that route. As far as chalks go relative to other brands it's a great look.
Another Ice Grey build here. My freeze date is in a month and I'm still a little torn as I have yet to see a full car with it in natural light, but I agree that it should pop nicely with the Agate trim pieces on the T. Other option is the no-cost plain white and then do a wrap which I'm still considering.
Here it is next to Chalk. There's a big difference.
In the sun I think it looks stunning:
Under cloud it goes to a more muted grey:

Yup, here's what Porsche says about the color:
"Ruby Star Neo is a new interpretation ("neo") of the very popular, historic Porsche color Ruby Star. Compared to the historic color Ruby Star Neo is slightly darker and less saturated with a modern touch."

It is similar but not the same, which is why it is unlikely that Ruby Star Neo would ever become a legendary color. It is too close in name and appearance to Porsche Heritage Ruby Star, which is already iconic. You get RSN because it is close enough to iconic RS that it’s not worth the delta to pay for PTS. Well, that and the fact that PTS is not even an option (at least for now).

MAN, this is one ACTIVE thread! How many pages do you think it will be up to when the first T arrives? And how many pages when the last T arrives? LOL

Love the carmine red on my current car.
The 992 T grey side mirrors and stickers probably won't pop as much as with skittle colors like guards red, but its just a classy red.
I'm just upset I can't do Bordeaux Red seat belts and Bose again. oh well
