Does anyone know if there is anything different about the headlining on the T (ie stripped out for weight/reduced sound deadening etc or is it the basic C2 roof lining?)? I’m toying with adding the Racetex roof (along with wheel and armrest) but will leave the roof if I’m just basically putting unnecessary weight back in!

~ 15-25k more......and with the GTS you're getting the Turbo S brakes as standard.. PCCB optional

That’s the issue though, you are starting with a well optioned out T ($150k I believe is the figure you stated) and comparing it to the GTS with the same options.

Porsche options are always cheaper as you go up the model lines, so if you are adding full leather and Burmeister and Sportdesign and whatever other baubles, the delta between a cheaper and an expensive model shrinks.

A nice T with a couple quality of life options is under $130k, which is an amazing vehicle. For the price of a stripper S you have every performance option available, and it’s an amazing daily driver as well as track eater.

Just to clarify - (base)Turbo brakes are standard on GTS. Turbo S comes standard with PCCBs.

You guys are talking about GTSs like anyone can just show up at a dealer and get an allocation for MSRP.

There’s a few individuals on here that beg to differ. Any day now, the bottom is dropping out, and you can just walk in and order 20% off MSRP.

I hope you're right, but right now if you are in CA, FL, NY that's just not the case. For context, I'm in So Cal, I can't even get people to respond to my inquiries. Fingers crossed you're right.

Does the dealer have any estimation on production timeline? Curious to know if we put in the deposit now, when we'll be getting the delivery

20% discount? I’m not so sure that reality is on the horizon.

Same story in Oregon. Bend wants an ADM on the 992 T, and Sunset told me 3 year wait (!!!) and I’d have to purchase dealer installed PPF and pay for first major service at time of purchase (essentially another form of ADM).

Question

Anyone planning on doing PTS? It's a lot of coin for sure, especially on a relatively low MSRP model, PTS is ~10% of the base T's MSRP. But perhaps for the T model deserves it?!

I was debating PTS Gulf Orange, but decided on Aero on white with stripes. I plan to add over the top racing stripes too.
