Way off topic, but your Tele form looks great, Scott. Thanks for doing ski patrol. Now back to the 992 911 Carrera T.

God bless you,

Then of course the fact that the allocation I took was available at least a week or so while I deliberated on it and no one took it.
Im #1 at Westwood, and I know there are others behind me. Boston told me they had 7 people in line. Burlington was the only one that did not have a list because they were the only one so far I know of in the region that was asking for an ADM... Nashua agreed to do MSRP as long as I traded in, but they had 3 people in front of me... and Norwell also had an ADM with no trade, or MSRP with trade, and only had 1 person in line for their allocation... which I think has been spoken for.... Burlington and Norwell are the only confirmed locations with 1 allocation each.

This is probably a "sacrilegious" comment, but is anyone else put off by all the dark gray bits on the T? What are the best exterior colors that go well with all that dark gray?

God bless you,
TT

I'm going Ruby personally... I think Guards red looks great with it too... I have a Gentian Blue 992 currently, and I don't know if the Silver accents would be great with it, In my opinion it kind of seems to be better with a really contrasted color or totally color matched with a GT silver build. My top three choices are Ruby, Guards Red, Racing Yellow (with high gloss black accents only on the Racing Yellow option)

Nice! What about Black, Carmine Red or Chalk? I fear Black is too close to the dark gray.

God bless you,

Nice, thanks for the info. In early November Westwood took my order demand but I didn't ask them about the list, I figured they had one going based on how they screened me through management. They are the recommended dealer by my Porsche friends. Nashua said they would submit an order for me as well, was told one ahead when i asked. Their guy never got back to me about the deposit they wanted so I've let that go for now. Norwell is interesting, they told me no list when I spoke to them in October, then no allocation when I called later in November. They told me call back in Jan.

Adam, to me the CGTS 4.0 is my favorite car in the entire Porsche lineup. Mid and normally aspirated engine is a potent and synergistic Porsche elixir.
The only reason I am not purchasing one is I am more than 6 feet 3 inches and I do not fit comfortably.
The Carrera is an incredibly fantastic car for a tall person.
I am hoping to see my chalk T delivered in spring.

The side decal/rear model designation/mirror caps almost don't stand out anymore on black. I test drove a black 718 T before buying mine and the side decal and rear logos were basically blacked out
I've seen a Carmine Red 718T before and it looks really good
on Chalk they're really visible and look good as well

I don't think the side decal looks good on Ruby, I think it looks best on white or silver

I've been working with Westwood for years and I have to say overall I have been very pleased with my relationship. I can't speak more highly of their service department actually... they really go out of their way to fit me in, work with me on service pricing etc... and If you put the face time in there and get to know the sales guys/managers, they really do treat you the way you would expect to be treated in a long term business relationship... thats why they want, right? Its in their best interest to build long term relationships and keep you coming back to buy your next model... Its worked for me so far, and I hope to continue it for many Porsche models to come.

In the shadows the gray barely shows on Gentian, but it pops a bit in the light (if the lighting in the configurator can be trusted). Gentian is my current build.

Yes, that is a beautiful build. Are you concerned that Gentian has some purple in it?

God bless you,

Also going GB. I'm doing decal delete but I think it will go well with the mirrors, look like they have a metallic paint finish in the above pictures from the LA auto show.

The more purple the better! I see it more as just greater depth in the blues. If I really had a choice and this was my dream build I'd get something like Macademia Brown Metallic. For some reason I like browns and metallic greens the most.

I'm leaving the decal for now because I feel it might just work. If it doesn't? It was reported on this thread that 3M Adhesive Remover makes quick work of easily removing it.
