992 Carrera T Club
Mine has been pushed back from Nov to Dec now to Feb 2024 build date because of my specs (exterior color, aero kit, exclusive mfg options, etc...). I've spec'ed it with a crazy amount of options becuase it's going to be a non-track daily driver for me.

I have a 911 Carrera T on order.

2/12/24 - Build Done
2/28/24 - Leave German Port
3//30/24 - Arrival in San Francisco, CA area
4/8/24 - Mine!

It was an October allocation, but since the AeroKit is a mandatory item for me, it was pushed out to December to accommodate that, and then slowly got pushed back... I know why (certain items have limited availability, or are EOL within the first 3 to 4 months of 2024)... It's a bummer, but at least I'm getting the 911-T that I want the way I want it... No compromises! 😀

992 Carrera line; Transmission and Engine
I have had what I have suspected all along, proven. I had it confirmed by the Porsche Mechanic I know and trust, Kent Moore, who owns Premier Sports Car Service, this is why I trust his work, and word. \/
https://premiersportscarservice.com/about-kent-moore/
The engine and transmission, are the exact same throughout the 992 Carrera series. Same piston, rods, block, everything is the exact same. The transmission housing, transmission and everything is the same.
The only difference between the engines and transmissions is the software. People are paying the extra money for S or GTS when the only difference is the tune. Porsche is making a great deal of profit out of that. Kent said there might be lining differences, but he would have to check the all of the carrera line, the base, the T, the S, the GTS, to see if there is a difference on the 992 he suspects there is not based in the work he has done on 992 carrera models for the track already. But there is always a small possibility of there being slight differences.
We can nitpick the breaks, the rear helper springs/suspension, turbos, possible intercooler/radiator differences, but there is not much of a difference even between all these.
so for anyone who is and has been wondering what the difference is now you know. Not a single difference between the actual make up of all 3 engines and transmissions
so go wild with your tuning and get those T numbers up to GTS if you so desire

In fact Litchfield will detune it back down to base should you want to revert it when you sell the car

Via which app are you guys using? The “My Porsche” App?
I received an email with a link to the production pics. The screenshot below is what I see when logged into to my account via Safari and iPad OS 17.1.1
