@Uhu , I adore Clarkson and his island.

I even been to his Diddly Squat Farm / pub / shed . . . . . Twice!

I would never follow his automotive advice but he is one of the best entertainers. . . . . . In The World!

Well played, @Macboy
I like your rear position. I also cut off the unnecessary white outer circle, it blends better with the car.

The retro 911 cars used to have such decals at the rear end of the rear/side window, which is much flatter/narrower nowadays, so it’s harder to fit.

Oh yea, luckily it’s vinyl so I cut them to size with scissors; started with the unsightly white ring, and cut deeper to fit into position on rear/side window

I will try one more time: I haven't done anything to your "point", I just added things that Clarkson usually adds to almost all his sentences. As a joke. I even posted a short clip from youtube where others make fun of this. Hope you will "get it" this time.

As for "Clarkson's opinion" about something...for me it doesn't matter at all, as long as I got to drive that certain car or experience that something. For me is more important what I feel or experience.

They stated the size on their website, (9,5 cm diameter), but yes...it could have been the size of the "75 years of Porsche" (6,5 cm diameter)
If I were you, I would order this sticker too, to have it ready next spring.

@Pivot @Uhu Had me in hysterics Clarkson's, Island Harry and Paul are always brilliant.
I think the stickers are fine the same size as the original championship winning ones on my 1970 S.
Clarkson just loved winding the other two up over 911's I don't think he ever doubted their engineering integrity.
Best Devon Racer.

So envious...I have to find a way to get to Goodwood and to Diddly squat.
Yeah, same thing for me (I wrote that before seeing your post), same with Harris. In a nutshell.

@Macboy because you were asking for pictures. And finally getting over 3000 km. A bit wet and dirty. Still smelling like new. I like how the car transforms as it warms up. Also, try the wet settings, it tames the throttle response (also torque release) and keeps the rev match from the sport settings. My new preferred setting to warm up the car.
Also, go well, go Shell! And how it looks with 160€ just invested in that front. Not at all different than usual. Kept both pictures, couldn't decide which to throw away...both are bad, looked better on the phone.

I couldn't watch the entire video.. that discussion was so "meta" and so "car journalist babble" I had to turn it off. "It's so perfect that it's not perfect". LOL OK.

Mine has been pushed back from Nov to Dec now to Feb 2024 build date because of my specs (exterior color, aero kit, exclusive mfg options, etc...). I've spec'ed it with a crazy amount of options becuase it's going to be a non-track daily driver for me.

I have a 911 Carrera T on order.

1/10/24 - Freeze
2/4/24 - Build Start
2/12/24 - Build Done
2/28/24 - Leave German Port
3//30/24 - Arrival in San Francisco, CA area
4/8/24 - Mine!

I took the non-criticisms to be code for *This car has no faults and we need to come up with something to try and not sound like paid shills*.

That is for sure. The Youtube has become the manufacturers’ best friend. A lot of free advertising with little payout.

It was an October allocation, but since the AeroKit is a mandatory item for me, it was pushed out to December to accommodate that, and then slowly got pushed back... I know why (certain items have limited availability, or are EOL within the first 3 to 4 months of 2024)... It's a bummer, but at least I'm getting the 911-T that I want the way I want it... No compromises! 😀
