992 Carrera T Club
Burning Brakes
Thank you! I have to say, I really am. The car feels like "me". It's interesting. I may be offered a second T allocation next week. I also have deposits on other Porsches, including a GT3T that would replace this car if it turned into an allocation. On the drive home, I kept thinking that I might pass on the other T allocation and also that I don't think I really need a GT3T and debated if it's worth the extra $100k.
When they switch to the 992.2 will they still keep a line open for some models of 992’s?
If not then surely the 992.2 T will only arrive in 3 years, as happened with the current gen??

Interesting that you may be offered a second T. Could the dealer say approx delivery and would it still be a 992?

Got into my CS today, as I has been almost two months since he was left alone, under a cover...
Took it into town for errands and:
- boy, you sit inside so high, I feIt like I was driving an SUV. I am remembering now that it took some time to get used to this.
- the same feeling again, the CS is the butcher's cleaver, the 911 is a surgeon's scalpel. Just brute force vs delicate handling.
- immediately I missed the manual gearbox and it was the confirmation that beside the "daily", I will only want to have manuals in my fun cars. As long as possible.
Sunday I will be back into the 911, I might drive up to Nürburgring, but only to have some fun on the routes outside the track. At under 1000 km it's not ready for the track.

Three Wheelin'
Good day today. At the airport by 5am, on the road by 1pm. 900km (560mi) in 8.5hrs. Just me and the car. I used a more "advanced" break in method and was able to get it all done on the way home. I haven't redlined it but did take it to 7k as part of the break in process and a few times in twisty sections. I love this car. I'm tired and will leave my review for another day but needles to say, I'm very, very happy with the car.
Looking forward to some more pics!

Above is the link to order T shirts. Try to get your orders in this weekend and Brian will order up the shirts we need on Monday. For now only US orders. I will try to investigate shipping overseas and if at all possible i can have him allow you to order and we will come up with a general shipping price and I can have my staff ship from my business since we have an account with Shopify.

Doing the work before I ordered them paid off. I'm very happy with the stance. Aggressive on the conservative side. OEM+

If everyone drove a Porsche, yours would feel a heck of a lot less special.

I'm aware this isn't a T or even a 911, but for those on the fence about Guards Red versus Carmine Red, this Carmine Taycan GTS I stumbled across last night a few blocks from me was showing some phenomenal depth in indirect sunlight.

How do these generally fit? Do we need to upsize if we prefer a little loose? TIA
