I stand by my $155k prediction.
![Default](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/icons/icon1.gif)
I’ll play that game also. Guessing highest bid is $135K.
@DSC48 But u have to stop posting comments there to drive up price, ha.
Just Kidding…probably makes no difference. If I was bidding on it, I’d already have a max number.

just noticed buyers fee there is $4500 vs $5000 BaT. So at my guess 139,500 all in. I hope it sells higher. Equities market is good right now. See what happens…

Yeah, that would be best case scenario for seller. 2+ bidders fighting for it (case study shows people overpaying at auctions from this situation). Could be a big number then!

I'm loving the price on this one! I hope it goes for... wait for it... ONE MILLION DOLLARS!
My actual prediction? Hmm... I bet it's very close to MSRP. Not counting auction fees.

Thanks. Indeed not the best with that brightness. Hopefully some new pics soon. Love the color and choices. Yellow belts and tacho. Stitching. Porsche weapon on the crest. Love it. Especially with the shark blue. What a dream combination. I would order it now like that in hindsight.
I was wondering why you didn’t do that for many months now too![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)
Lol. Should kick that video for people who still don’t know. You with your photographical memory got any idea which page it was?
100% orange stitching. Leave the belts black. You can change them later. You can definitely do a white tacho and chrono with this combination. I also see you got the most leather options included which is a must with such a beautiful specced car. Lower door parts and inner sill door guards. Don’t forget the last bits: fusebox with the middle vent part in leather and the floormats and the backside of the rear view mirror. So your deviated stitching is really fully paid off to the max. I think Race Tex will work brilliant in this killer combo. Golf blue with orange stitching and white dials and the race tex steering wheel and shifter. Endboss. For sure. But please leave the “Carrera T” logo! All other 992 already have that so it’s less special.
EDIT I see now that in USA you have the Extended Leather Package for $1,360. This really is a bargain. Great choice. But I also see you don’t have the backside of the seats in leather. I think this would be a must with this combination. If you are at the end of your budget I seriously would consider dropping the Extended Dashboard in Leather and adding the backside of the seats in leather. Reason being the dash is already in leather so you are only paying for that small part stitching in front of the chrono. While in the 991.2 the leather dash had the stitching everywhere on the dashboard. This really is a rip-off by Porsche. Would be my advice.

Ha, I studied Auction Theory & Strategy in grad school. Yes, that’s typical. Question is how much does demand exceed supply. I hope it ends up a higher number than my guess…just not sure how popular CaB is. We’ll see. ![Big Grin](https://rennlist.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

my only and last experience with BAT was on a 991.1 50th.
typical last second Ebay strategies i had honed since 1995 (multiple windows with variable amounts) did not work....Every time someone bid, it extended the deadline by a couple of minutes-->money grab! worse than shill bidding
in for the class action suit!

Nice and simple spec but dealbreaker for me without the full leather, especially going out of the way of having the green stitching. To each of their own I guess.

I did this on BaT a few years ago and got my car. 1984 Audi Ur-Quattro for sale on BaT Auctions - sold for $28,000 on June 29, 2020 (Lot #33,293) | Bring a Trailer

Yes, be very very very careful of the computer clock. I had a friend whose work computer, and my new work computer, both consistently lose a few minutes over real time. Although now I get an warning message from bring a trailer that my clock is not synced with the system clock. So that helps. But because they add 2 minutes every time a bid is entered, there is no reason to wait to the last second

Yeah with this auction style that's the way it works, thus my strategy to wait. There is no value in bidding 2 days before it ends. I only start bidding in the last 10 minutes. When outbid, I up my bid immediately assuming I'm below my max. Signal your intent to whoever you are competing with and don't risk having some technical issue by waiting for a 5 second countdown. I also don't mess with $250 increments. Bid to the next $1000 level.

Love it and yours definitely needs some TLC. I have since built up a Tamiya RC version of it too, painted blue of course. OT for sure so won't go much further down the rabbit hole, but as a 1984 it was 1 of 65 imported to the US, one of 668 total imported to the US (by Audi). Fun to drive and very different from a 911. On topic, they were all manuals.
