Nothing like a cold start flat-6 pulling out of the garage!

You’ll know right away if it has it or not... Hopefully it doesn’t.
2021 718 Gt4s and spyders are on port hold as well. 2020s have the filter body with no filter or monitoring for the US. Hopefully the 2021 will be the same way and an easy swap to aftermarket replacement pipes. Will update when my gt4 gets out of port hold hell

Dealer picked up my old car today for trade.. First time no 911 in garage in almost 20 years.. ;-(. Hoping the 10/2 delivery date is real!

If the 10/2 date is real then wouldn't the cars be shipping to dealers sooner than that(ie. early next week) so they can get them cleaned up etc.?

My SA said they are hoping for approval on Sept 30. If so, your dealer might building their estimate based on that.

My ship to dealer date is 9/4. Guess they missed hitting that date. No change since then, still 9/4.

The Official "estimated" release date is 9/30. Key word is estimated.

Seems so odd the dealers don't seem to know how/when they will even get cars. All the dealer lots are supposedly empty--why not start moving cars into position if they really want to sell them on 10/2. Starting to agree on the likelihood of the date moving out again.

They probably don't want to risk any dealers releasing the vehicles early. Porsche might be liable for hefty fines for delivering cars that are not (yet) approved.

Because they're waiting on a government agency. Not in their control.

Keep in mind.. I emailed PCNA a couple days ago letting them know my dealer didn't have any information on the status of my car and they said they would look into it. So, I don't know if the call was a result of my email and he's just trying to pacify me or it's legit. But, he told me it just finished with the port processing and he's hoping it's on the delivery truck tomorrow or Monday. I'll keep everyone updated.

My car finished port processing on 8/31. Doesn’t mean my car is at the dealer. Still sitting at the port.... Might want to update your SA.
