Yes, it took a while before I started having battery issues. I got my 992 in July 2020. Drove it consistently since then (~7K miles total now), didn't have any battery issues until this year, Sep 30 and again Dec 1.

I‘ve seen it there but thought it’s a fake and for sure not original.

how good is the quality ? Metal and color finish ?

It's not that bad. Here are more detailed photos I posted over the weekend. It is Metal and heavy, and color wise it's pretty close but not an exact match, but unless you see them side by side you would never know... maybe if you owned an S/T yourself 😀

Not saying it's not, but it's outrageous how much they're asking for fake stuff that probably costs them $30-50 shipped to the States. Americans just lifting the offer...they see us a mile away.

Not to mention that it is illegal- both a criminal and civil violation of US law. Porsche is the victim as their design patent and trademarks have been stolen for profit….a good profit.

Agree but just goes to show how totally overpriced Porsche stuff is. Back in the day (early 70s) if you bought special tools that were "required" to work on your car (heresy) the profits from tool sales (and other stuff) purportedly went to fund part of the racing dept. Now ...

I haven't yet found where to permanently defeat this in PIWIS...

I also would love to find a way for the car to remember heated seat and steering wheel (last position selected). I can do that on my 15 year old Touareg that doesn't need to be drive 6,000 miles a year to prevent the battery from dying.

We need that 2024 software. Everyone has been saying stop/start has been removed. Doesn’t even show up in the PCM.
