What is the actual colour?
@Barkat03 Could be Ice Grey Metallic or looks in one photo more like Crayon?
No doubt we will discover nice looking car though. Best Devon Racer.

He actually mentions the color in the caption under the last picture in his post. Chalk/crayon😅

Yes, great hotel! And yes, it’s a lift to the garage. You will have to convince them to reserve a spot. The lights on the far right of the garage show if the car will clear the opening.

Below the surface, they have a robot that plays Tetris in the basement. I have not seen it working, the employee said that he would get fired if he showed me. For all I know they have a Shrek pushing cars on a warehouse trolley

I stand corrected! I left off the paint and 18 ways.
Adding it all up I get to £123k excl road tax of £2.2k

Thanks, us too!

I'm an old car guy (993, 996 & 986 S plus some leaky old English stuff in the barn) and a bit of an automotive Luddite, and hadn't driven a recent Porsche in ages, but I was surprised at how vintage? pure? the t felt. We lucked out in that Porsche Norwell had a perfectly optioned, for us, manual t coming in.

Cheers.

I took a chance and ordered it from Ali Express. While not 100% perfect, it's a pretty close match.

Slight differences are with the color above the "11" digits (original is more grey, where this is more bluish/grey), and the font for the 1963-2023 is a little bit off.

Thanks for sharing, @zanary . It does look good and it's odd that they mismatched the colour, but now we know it’s a clone, not surplus from the same production line.

If you scroll down on the Porsche UK website where it shows the details of this car you'll find an Open in Car Configurator box. It shows the cost at £124,891 ex tax.. In reality they're depreciating heavily in the UK, typically £20k straight after they leave the showroom. It's a sign of the grim times the UK economy has found itself in.

Absolutely, not a surplus... Beyond the colors (which are pretty close), the fit and finish of it is pretty impressive. Here is a more close-up photo, along with the photo of the one inside the "60Y Porsche 911 – Limited Edition Suede Jacket" (also limited to 1963 only)

Agreed, ALWAYS choose the wider carriages.

The Eurotunnel booking will automatically allocate you the wider(much wider) carriage if your car falls in either a wider or lower class. For example in our Cayenne we got allocated the standard narrow ones and when crossing in my 812 we get allocated the wide carriage. In reality the narrow carriage is too small for our Cayenne despite what they think.
Alternatively, you can request the wider carriage when booking. When we cross it this year in either our 992T or Cayenne I'll be making sure we get the wide option.
