I finally got around to installing the GT3 RS paddle shifters and the mat CF steering wheel trim pieces that I got for Christmas. I think it looks better with the CF trim matching the rest of the CF trim in the car. The paddle shifters make a nice clicking sound when you change gears and they are a little bigger than the standard shifters that come on the car.
The installation went ok; it took me two hours because the connector installed inside the steering wheel was a pain to disconnect and reconnect( I really did not want to break the spindle behind the wheel) and getting the trim piece off the back of the steering wheel is a real PIA. Again, I took my time so as to not break the hard plastic clips that hold it all together.

Nice! I want to do my wheel minus the paddles. Did you get the parts from DB? Also, I have looked for installation instructions and can't find them...did you find instructions you could post?

If you look at this thread right on this forum it has pretty good instructions. I think the guy in the video kind of skipped over the battle with the connector inside the steering wheel. Just take your time and be careful when pulling the wheel off to make sure that the connector is disconnected or you will pull the spindle out. It would have been easier with two people, someone to hold the spindle in from behind the wheel as you pull it off. I purchased the CF part from DB and the shifters from Protech parts.

how much was the cf cover?we got genuine ones only
for the connector in the steering wheel always use a tool or finger to unclip the small green safety plastic first and then it goes out easy.

For everyone having a hard time removing the yellow connector, this guy shows the secret. I did it this way and it popped right off. Skip to 4:31 in the video:
Yes it's the Porsche rack. I usually drive with the windows up on the highway. The rack is not quiet above 70mph (with the windows up). However I need to install the rubber strips as they should cut down the wind noise.
Mine won't arrive until 1st week of April, but I've stared to order and receive a bunch of stuff for my 911T in preparation. It makes it feel that much more real now!
