I also was given an allocation for a T about the same day you received yours. Mine is scheduled to land at the dealer May 12. I was going to do a European Delivery but Joey back in the Atlanta office says they are fully booked for the entire Summer already and will open Fall dates in mid-summer. So, I will just do a PECLA delivery instead -- a lot less work and expense. Just a 70-mile drive from my home.
I was also told by my SA this morning that Porsche is suspending all PTA orders for 2023 -- and I have bought several cars from this salesman, and he is always honest with me. I was thinking of Gemini Metallic Blue -- but that isn't going to happen. Maybe Porsche is trying to speed up the assembly process but seems unlike them to give up on an extra $11,500.
Maybe I should thank Porsche for saving me $11,500 on a PTS color and several thousand more on the Bose stereo also. Maybe next they will put tires on the stop sale list -- or steering wheels.
Anyone have a feel if a T allocation is really hard to obtain? Are guys paying premiums over MSRP these days? I had a car to trade in which helped with the T allocation -- so essemtially I paid a premium as I could have sold the car for more than the dealer gave me. But I do get to reduce the taxable cost of the car for calculations of sales tax so that saves me something around than $10,000.
Seems Porsche wants to see a lot of Python Green T's on the road - given the only COLOR for the T interior -- either version -- is green.
My plan with this car is too keep it simple so the car might even get built on a timely basis.
What colors are other T allocation guys selecting?
Nice of Porsche let us select any interior color we want as long as it is black.

I ended up doing Ruby Star neo + the interior trim painted (free option instead of $1,270 like on other trims, gets rid of the piano black fingerprint magnet trim that is standard on this, adds some much needed color) instead of doing deviated stitching to add color in. The dark grey stitching that was on a lot of the press cars didn't look like it stood out at all so paying for it just to get the T pinstriping didn't seem worth it to me.
