port delays. ports all over the world are screwed up, and 1 late ship has a domino effect on others.
my gts sat in emden for 5 weeks. it sucks, but they'll get it on a ship. after 2 bumps, mine got squeezed on to a ship. it'll get there, just hang in there!
I don't understand what cars get delayed vs straight onto the boat. My last 3 cars (over the last 3 years), including a 992 GTS which left port on 12/12, have all loaded onto the vessel within 24 hours of arriving at Emden. Yet I keep hearing about GTS sitting at Emden for weeks. Does that indicate something wrong with the car (needs a part)? Or are certain orders (or customers) prioritized?
Well, the saga of my ‘22 GTS continues. Was fortunate to quickly get on the boat after production completed but now, after being dropped off in Houston, it is currently on a port hold. Could be anything from missing part, software update, to the worst case scenario of the vehicle being damaged in transit. Dealer has no way to know the details of what or for how long. Guess I will just be waiting some more.
Mine went straight on the boat (Glovis Courage) after arriving at Emden, and the Glovis Courage arrived in San Francisco yesterday. So interested to see if it moves straight through or gets hung up like other cars.
How and how soon where you informed of the delay? TYD has not updated for me (says "still on vessel").

It took about a day for TYD to update from On Vessel to Port Processing after the boat unloaded. The next day (Monday) is when my dealer informed me it was being held at the port.
Quick update, vehicle was released from the port today (1/10) and will hopefully be here by the end of the week. Still no information on what caused the "Quality Action" delay.

1/10-update on TYD that your vehicle has been produced with 2 body pictures
as of 1/12 my TYD doesn't show CP8.0 or transit or anything. I don't have the full car picture (with tires etc)...so any guess on what state my car is?

Similar to me. My car started on 11/28. Adjusted CP8 date was 1/9. Got the produced email and app showing the same two pictures. Yesterday TYD updated and pushed out CP8 another 15 days to 1/27. That would put me in production for 2 months. I think my original delivery date when the car froze was 1/16. Now it’s 3/2.
With the car pending delivery on a boat, is there a way to know if we got the stupid manual steering wheel telescoping control or the automatic?
Should we assume all the non turbo cars are manual now? Is there any chance the car has the automatic?
