I think I got really lucky, randomly decided to go into my Porsche dealership on 12/20, thinking I would have a 1-2 year wait for an allocation at MSRP, put a $5k deposit for a 911 Carrera T, no one in line ahead of me, and they got allocation on 12/21, when 2 more people put in deposits for a carrera T. Car is scheduled to be produced beginning of April, delivery either May or June.
Look at the big picture guys/gals the cars are produced if you're in port!! The best part of TYD is we now know when we should hit the boat. Once you hit the boat it's 10 days to Baltimore and the car will only sit max 3 days. Zero delays at Baltimore!! Plus whatever trucking time to Chicago will be for me? (3 days max). I banked on Feb 2023!! This is all falling right in line!! Spring will be here very shortly!! The wildcard is the boat!! Where is my picture of the car finished??
TYD just updated My car didn’t get on the ship on 12/23 it is now schedule for 1/13/2023 to leave Germany. 😞

Either way, most of these vessels are running behind schedule anyway. I'm guessing we'll know more in about 2 weeks.
My car also missed the Siem Aristotle. Now due Chicago 2/3/23. Without an updated shipping schedule i looked into the usual boats making the Emden to Davisville, Baltimore, Jax run, and Siem Cicero is the next boat in to Emden that is on the usual rotation. ETA 12/31. Its in the English Channel now.
I also cannot yet see that last picture of car completed. Hoping for Michelins!

Yeah bummed but hopefully we make it soon
There are different tire options? What's the benefit of Michelins?

Where are you located? What dealership?
Just curious to know how many allocations are going out and where for the T so far.. we have a good list going in the T thread.
Thanks
Not sure if this is the right place to post, but there is a gentian blue 4S incoming to a Chicagoland dealer (Illinois registration only) loaded with options ($168k MSRP). PM me if you want some more details.
Fellas, I'm checking out of the waiting room. It's been a fun 5 months obsessively refreshing TYD with you, I've learned more about shipping schedules than I really ever thought I would. Your cars are coming, and the wait is worth every minute. I'm going to go drive off into the sunset for a while, see you later!
I have been waiting for my 992S to be loaded on the RoRo since Nov 30, 2022. It has missed several scheduled sailing for no known reason. The most recent date is Dec 30, 2022. The TYD has shown it at the port for several weeks but as of today it now it shows its "current milestone" status as "Arrival at your Authorized Dealer" which I know is not the case. Not sure if the TYD status will update at some point soon but this is the first time it has not been accurate.
Any ideas how to know if it got on the RoRo and if so, the name of the ship to be able to track its progress? I have been pestering the dealership so hate to call on them again before asking here. Any help is greatly appreciated.
My TYD is updating with the same information the dealer is currently seeing. Your car most likely sitting because of your dealership has more orders coming and it will ship all at once. Ask your dealership how many units they have sitting with your car in port. My dealership had somewhere around 80 cars sitting in Emden and most made the boat but my car just missed loading. those cars I'm referring to had sat for months. Tahoebob did TYD just jump to the dealership? My TYD hits a date and either moves on or updates. I still see some fuzzy dates that most likely are place holders. I'd love to hear when you get on the boat. I think my car could sit like you have. If we are having this discussion and it's May 2023 I'm 100% walking. To many cars are becoming available in market place. Being a car ***** is good right now. the Lambo market is tanking along with non GT cars. I think I'll be on the next boat. LOL

Hi Bob, please check your mail box for more feedback.
Your TYD will show what ship you're on once the car is loaded onto the RoRo.
The name is usually listed at the very top of TYD. It can be easy to miss.
My Targa 4S is sitting on the SFL Conductor which, according to the vesselfinder.com website, was meant to arrive at the Port of Baltimore yesterday. But for the last 24 hours the ship seems to be stopped in the bay about an hour out from Baltimore and hasn't moved. When I checked Expected Arrivals at the Port of Baltimore website, the SFL Conductor is no longer listed. I know you guys that are only getting their cars in a month or two or more will have no sympathy for me but the wait gets more difficult as the time gets closer. Do you think it's just because the port is full? I don't understand why the ship is no longer on the Expected Arrivals list.

I would guess it’s related to being a Sunday and New Year’s Day
