For those of you with a car on the Violet Ace.....well.....good luck.....
At first I thought the boat was making an unexpected stop in Le Havre. But I'm guessing....er...hoping...this is about avoiding storms and rough seas in the Channel.
I think the Captain found the case of Scnapp's on board.
Well, the saga of my ‘22 GTS continues. Was fortunate to quickly get on the boat after production completed but now, after being dropped off in Houston, it is currently on a port hold. Could be anything from missing part, software update, to the worst case scenario of the vehicle being damaged in transit. Dealer has no way to know the details of what or for how long. Guess I will just be waiting some more.
My exit port of Emden has been pushed twice, from 12/02 --> 01/06 --> 01/27. No open campaign per my SA by looking at VIN. Anyone know what might be going on? Is it just port logistic or something else? The final port is Benicia.

port delays. ports all over the world are screwed up, and 1 late ship has a domino effect on others.
my gts sat in emden for 5 weeks. it sucks, but they'll get it on a ship. after 2 bumps, mine got squeezed on to a ship. it'll get there, just hang in there!
Same here on my GTS. Had nothing on tyd for 3 weeks but my SA never lost visibility. I sent Porsche NA an email today and 3 hours later I got an update that production complete Jan 6 after 3 months of slips. Estimates now say at dealer in Virginia 2/3 so it should be on a carrier going to Baltimore within the next 2 weeks.
