My delivery date remains 23 days from today is I'm also awaiting the next arbitrary date. Perhaps we will be shipmates!
Yeah, indeed, very frustrating. If/when your dates are updated, please post it here. I've been in "limbo" so many times with this order, even had to cancel by planned ED, so I can understand the aggravation.

On this I can certainly agree. I have a 25+ year career in international logistics so I can tell you full well, along with many of my own horror stories, about port delays and the difficulty in obtaining accurate information. But it seems like with many of these cars, there is no clear reason why some cars sit at Emden for months and other are shipped out within a few days of arrival. And I think this is the part of the equation that Porsche (or any manufacturer) doesn't really go into details to explain. And it could be anything from missing parts, final assembly, to damage in transport which needs to be repaired. And the not knowing is always aggravating.

Given how a number of posters here have watched their car sit at the Port while ships have come and gone, I consider myself super lucky.
My GT3 finished production on Nov. 2nd (with Bose, PCCB, and FAL) and was on a ship that departed Emden on Nov. 23rd.
Arrived on the Glovis Clipper on Dec. 23rd. Completed port processing on Dec. 24th.
Arrived at dealer Dec. 27th.

That is a a nice timeline, I am hoping for something similar once it gets to Houston. I was production complete 12/5, on a boat on 12/9, and scheduled in Houston on 1/2. Would love to have the car by the end of next week.

I believe my car actually got on the Siem Aristotle...I'll believe it when I see it.

I was supposed to ship out of Emden on about 12/16...missed that one.

Then I had an estimate of 12/30...but apparently I'm on the Siem as of 12/24.

Guess we will see!

Nice! Per TYD or per GPS coordinates?

TYD.

my TYD has been accurate at telling me where I’m at in the process. If things have been bumped it’s been updated quickly. By accurate, I don’t mean the actual estimates, because they’ve been changed many times. When I say accurate, I mean they’ve updated quickly when delays occurred.

I wonder how many cars this is affecting? My car is scheduled to get to Houston on 1/2. Really hoping it doesn’t sit there for weeks. Did they give you any more detailed information?

No longer waiting. . . good luck to those who are. . . worth the wait. I've been Porsche-less for 20 months, and now I remember why I love them

In retrospect-TYD was pretty accurate all things considered- build date exit port Emden, entry port Davisville and date delivered were all only a couple of days off, and this was as of 8/3/22. I wonder if I am the exception.

I ordered the car 7/29, and it arrived at the dealership 12/27.

It is "pretty accurate" alright since they update it every time it got delayed.

Mine was produce was produce between 12/9 and 12/12. TYD showed that it was at the port as of 12/13. Supposed to be loaded to go to Davisville RI on 12/16, but that was pushed to 12/30. Just checked and it looks like the Siem Aristotle left 12/26 for Davisville with an estimated arrival of 1/6. I sure hope my car is on that boat. TYD still says it's at the port and estimated arrival in 15 days, 1/13. But it also says the boat gets there that same day when no boats from Emden arrive there. We shall see I guess.

my car was at port for just over 4 weeks. My TYD shows I'm on the Siem Aristotle.

i could be wrong, but unless they bumped you to the front of the line, my guess is you'll be on the next boat...or even the one after that.
