Thanks Jeff. Wow...here we go again.

Has PCNA or Porsche AG released anything formally in writing announcing the PTS STOP-ORDER status? I notice PTS has been removed as an option on ALL the 911 models on the Configurator. What a shame. I'm at the top of our local dealer's 911 C4S allocation wait list, but will pass on any allocations that doesn't include PTS. This will be my fourth and very likely my last P-car...and I'd really like to configure the car with PTS. Looks like I'll be waiting until MY25 given this news. Yes, a very First-World problem alright...BUT...

The configurator still offers it for GT3s. Not sure about other models or trims. And not sure if Porsche is honoring requests for PTS for GT3s. Might be just that they haven’t yet updated the configurator.

Thanks...yes...PTS may still appear as an option on the GT3 Configurator...however, leads to a STOP ORDER if an allocation is submitted with PTS selected. I went through precisely that on my Spyder when my allocation was submitted including PCCB's. They were still an option shown on the Spyder Configurator...however they led to an immediate STOP ORDER at PCNA.

Today I was in the factory at Stuttgart for a tour of the 911 production line. Took 2.5 hours and cost 10 Euro. The factory is now back in full production after the holiday period. Lots of 911 cars of all varieties going down the line GT3, RS, GTS, Dakar, etc. The only PTS I saw was the Dakar in Rothmans. 2nd time for myself and this time we were able to look down on engine production. We were not allowed in the marriage area as it is deemed that there is not enough space for visitors. You could look down the line though. If you get the opportunity it is definitely worth doing and a bargain at 10 Euro.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say most of us waiting to go to Davisville will do so aboard the Siem Cicero leaving Emden on 9/25 and arriving on 10/7. Unless there is a problem at one of the ports. I might be completely wrong but it doesn't make sense that cars would wait in Emden for 20 days for no reason.

@DC1960 That is awesome. My SB GTS started production yesterday and is there somewhere along in the process.

Crossing my fingers for this because it's the next ship to be coming to the Jacksonville port as well.

My GT3 goes into production on Friday. PTS was a no go at the time of order.

You are being way to optimistic lol, I was so excited I thought I had gotten on the Sunshine Ace boy was I wrong I received a dose of of reality with almost a month delay.
Honestly I would like to see pics of the car maybe I will win the tire lottery and get Michelin tires this time around.

Maybe, but really just trying to be realistic. Shipments were slow in August due to production being shut down, so the transports should not be behind with other manufacturers. What would be the reason our cars sit for 20 days when others are going out in 7-10? I'm sure there are many reasons they could go later, I'm just trying to justify my limited knowledge of logistics.

Thanks.

My PTS request was declined in August. Below is the reply from PCNA to my selling dealer.

Well you can find out about the tire lottery now. Simply download the elevator picture from production and zoom in. I can clearly see the Goodyear lettering on mine.

Except the key here is you need to have production pictures.

No production pics yet, TYD looks different than past site I'm not really sure where they show up on the app.
