The actual vehicle production is quick. The lineup to get into production is what takes a while. Your next update will be when its done.

I'm curious why you want FAL for Chicago. Isn't Chicago a pretty flat city? Do you have a very big curb on your driveway?

Did yours jump from scheduled to production complete quickly then? How fast in days, do you recall? Thanks for the peace of mind...it's all mentally draining at times.

There are two "scheduled for production" milestones... one on the main screen and one in the "track your dreams" screen.

For whatever reason the one on the main screen shows up about a month before your freeze date. The one in the TYD screen is about 1 or 2 weeks before actual production. And then it should complete production about a week after that.

Congrats bigmoney! Hopefully they can get it to you quickly so you can enjoy some of the North Georgia back roads.

Chicago is littered with speed bumps; hence FAL

That's almost 3 whole months! Is it just me, or are the delays getting worse?

im sorry for you, I ordered my car less than three weeks before you, and it’s already here in the US at the dealership

it happened to me, for some reason they still released it from port of Davisville it was there a month.
and installing the part themselves at dealership, I’m doing PPF in the meantime so. It could be worse

Our car has received its VIN 3-4 weeks ago but still no sign of it at the distribution center. The sales guy showed us on screen but told us that he simply did not know where the car was and did not want to start promising anything regarding delivery date until he knew (fair enough). Dealer is located 250-300km from Stuttgart so transport should be simple. We are guessing something else is keeping delivery back, perhaps after installment of a sensor or something silly like that.

But weird situations at the moment.

That's similar to my situation. My Targa 4 completed production on 8/24, and was due in Emden on 8/27. That's still the due date, but not even my dealer can tell me that it's arrived. He doesn't know where the car is, but is told the delays are post-production related, and the car won't leave Germany until whatever components that are missing are installed. It would be nice if they gave us more information.

Like you, I have a VIN. I also have a completed production photo. Weird times indeed.
