So does the SIEM CONFUCIUS still need to stop at emden to load cars? Not sure how this ship stuff works!
No, it's currently in port at Emden. The question is when is it leaving. For previous ships, some guys have received email/text that their car (and ship) has left the port prior to the ship actually leaving Emden. Some have received the notices a day or 2 after ship has left port. Also, the next ship is named Emden arriving Emden today and scheduled to arrive Davisville a day before the Seim Confucius arrives Baltimore.
It's not track your dream, it's track your agony......
When did your car get into the port? Davisville on SFL Conductor? Still nothing for me after arriving into Jacksonville on 5/28......so agreed with your 'track your agony' point.

You should be receiving word out of JAX soon. Mine logged this morning.
@roma0608 We need to get out of JAX ASAP before a bunch of GTIs coming off the Wolfsburg box us in!
100%! I hope they process the cars on a first-in first-out basis......also, I assume Porsche wants to get paid asap, which should incentivize them to expedite the delivery process. Can only imagine how much working capital is tied up in each ship.

Yes, agreed! Who else here (or on the "Porsche-o-sphere" thread) were on the SFL Conductor (getting off at JAX)?
Somebody backed it into a pole or another car and they are repairing it. And they never have to disclose that, so it's like a secret accident.
This was my concern when mine was stuck for a month in Emden.
Are you sure they don't have to disclose it? I thought there was some special request you had to make to force them to disclose repairs at the port - I don't remember now what I heard when I toured the BMW VDC in NJ and that question was asked.
But you are correct, after what I saw at the BMW VDC, the repairs to "new" cars can be significant.
