He would appreciate that. Although he has owned some 20 Porsche's over many years this is only his second one that he has ordered from the factory. The last one was a 1962 356. Its about time...
I have been staring at a couple of Aventurine cars myself, just to tide me over, so know the feeling.

interesting. Mine still is sitting at the factory i'm guessing, which would mean your theory that it was on the same ship as yours i'm assuming didn't pan out, since my TYD still hasn't updated.

I wonder if they're holding back some cars at the factory while letting others go and just sit at the port for things like TPMS. it'd be great if they told us why or if that's even the case. your car was built a month after mine yet is already here. i'm jealous.

My Change Freeze Point was reached last night. Production set for 10/15. None of my dates have really moved since I got my allocation on July 5th. I did not make any changes from my original specification.

I ordered early July, but made the mistake of changing my build in August. That bumped my dates out about 2 weeks. Lesson learned.

Freeze date was 9/13, then since August has bounced between 9/28 to 9/30 several times. Today moved to 9/30 again.
Start of production has stayed consistent at 10/29.
Arrival at Dealer has bounced between 12/24 and 12/31, but has been 12/24 for a while. Merry Christmas!

Mine is scheduled for production 10/15 and start production 10/22, but gets to dealer 12/31. So mine is being built a week earlier but delivered a week later.

Yes, 09/20/2021 Scheduled for Production Actual
10/1/2021 Start of Production
10/29/2021 On Vessel
11/19/2021 Port of Houston
11/19/2021 At dealer somehow.

Not sure how they will make the delivery to dealer schedule unless the on vessel date is sooner or the ship is really fast.

Your dates will absolutely change, especially given that the various supply chain issues are likely to worsen in the next few months.

My dates changed many times and I got lucky in that my time from production completion to on a vessel at Emden was extremely short. I can't remember how long it was but there were no delays. It basically went right to Emden and was on a boat within a couple of days.

Mine car has been sitting at Houston port since 8/20. When it got there, ETA at dealer date was 9/10. Then it changed to 10/1. My dealer had a bunch of cars arrive unexpectedly yesterday and thinks mine will show up very soon. Expected delivery next week as they have been told by Porsche that a bunch of TPMS modules (that's what the holdup has been on mine) are in route to them. So the cars are being sent..
