According to him the car could arrive as early as today, but they have no way of tracking the vehicle between port and dealer with the transport itself.
A good friend of mine is a Porsche SA in South Carolina. He has been saying for months that there is a severe shortage of transport truck drivers in the southeast, and their delivery times from JAX after "released for transport" have been much, much longer than usual (sometimes several weeks). Your SA can confirm for you whether the car has been released for transport as their PSVM system shows more milestones than TYD - if there's still any question about that. The dealerships are notified by the port when cars are assigned to a truck, so if they check regularly they can at least tell you that as well.

Heard the same thing on an ordered BMW once it arrived at the Brunswick, GA port in June this year. Our local city government is short of truck and bus drivers as well. Weird times.

Hello Everyone,

My 2022 992 delivery got pushed back from 1/21/22 to 2/11/22. The wait is long... but worth it!

Same port, and now told it will be at dealer around October 1st!
A month later than originally scheduled..
The wait continues.

Anybody care to comment on how long TYD showed their vehicle "In Production" before changing to enroute to Emden?

Ah yes, the august shut down. Still seems very long. Overall was your original delivery date versus your actual that far off as well or did it catch back up? Thanks

would love to see one if anybody has it.

@rk-d i've seen you post them before, how do you get them?

the Siem Cicero last i knew was supposed to load up on 9/1 but it's been moored at Emden since 8/30. (https://www.marinetraffic.com/en/ais...el:SIEM_CICERO).

My car is STILL showing en route to Emden for over a month now... i'm just hoping that they missed a scan and that once it's on a ship everything will update. <fingers crossed>

by the way, when does the TYD 'main' status page go to "Phase 4 - your vehicle is on its way to you"? When it's on the boat? when it's at the US Port? after US port processing?

This is what I found. Probably not all that helpful - sounds like logistics are a mess.

7/14 - 8/24 ... had to endure the August shutdown... once factory opened back up on 8/23 TYD quickly updated the day after...

My 911 is now on the Siem Confucius in the middle of the Atlantic set to hit Halifax later this week.

My Targa is "scheduled" (per dealer screen) to depart Emden tomorrow 9/10, and arrive in Baltimore 9/24. I presume that means it will be shipping out on the Siem Cicero, which was at one time scheduled to depart on 9/3.
