When did your Targa finish production and then get to Emden?

For me, my Targa 4 started production in late July but didn't finish until August 23. It then left for Emden a couple of days later. TYD (and my dealer) show that it is "due" to arrive in Emden on 8/27, but neither shows it has arrived yet. It is supposed to get on a ship on 9/24 (for the West Coast). Right now, I have no idea where it is.

My Targa 4S was completed on 7/23, then didn't enter Emden port until 9/03. Now scheduled to exit Emden on 9/10, with arrival in Baltimore port on 9/24.

Attached is the latest directly from PWL Group. Logistics are a mess. The attached is in a different format, with a lot of "to be confirmed" dates listed. The best you can get from this is the current order of ships scheduled to come in and their planned ports. For any meaningful detail you'll need to check Marine Traffic or other sites to see exactly where the ships are and their next stop, etc.

First post so be nice (please). I have recently ordered a C4 Coupe here in the UK. Indicative delivery is one year so might be a '22 and might be a '23MY. I debated waiting for the 992.2 but this is likely my last petrol car so a mild hybrid is not what I am after.

Have an XC90 as a family car and my dealer was saying that they are now adding another three months delay to orders so who knows when I will be back in a Porsche as my special car.

Hi, when you say “ordered”, do you mean paying the deposit and waiting for a build slot?

Paid a deposit, given an estimated delivery date. I’m happy with that, gives me time to refine the spec ahead of it locking, probably, Q2 next year. I don’t know whether it works differently here in the UK but I trust them to proceed on that basis.

It looks like my TYD updates went rogue. This morning it showed my car "in production" with a targeted completion of October 27th and just now it flipped that it's at the dealer with passing through all milestones. The targeted completion still shows October 27th.

Pinged my SA and he also has no clue what is happening. Not sure if anyone else seeing that. At this point I should uninstall the app

thanks! How are you able to get these?

by looking at the schedule, there's no ship yet scheduled for Jacksonville (that hasn't left yet). Damn. And my car didn't make it on the Siem Confucius I guess. Sigh.

To your point my SA told me production begins 9.10 a couple weeks ago, but TMD shows production starting 10.1? Who knows what the truth is.

No it updated as expected. My car has been in the "port processing" stage since 9/2, but I was told yesterday that it was waiting on transport for the past few days. Today it updated through the last two steps over a matter of 5-6 hours, which is about right for a truck to make the journey.

I live in the UK as well, I paid the deposit for a C2 in July and been told that the car would have been delivered sometimes next year. Thankfully, someone cancelled the order and I have now been given a September build slot with delivery in October / November.

I wanted to keep my Cayman until the 911 arrived but current used prices are crazy, so I have decided to sell it at a ridiculous price and be patient….
