The My Porsche web page still shows my status as "car is scheduled for production" and so I still don't have any pictures of it on the assembly line. Strange.
You mean pushed back??

Sorry for any confusion. My original delivery date was July 30. It was brought forward to July 9.

I understood it the way you intended. It wasn't confusing.

Another option is to track it through the FleetMon site. You can buy 14 days of satellite tracking for $16 and don't have to worry about any cancellation issues.

Does that site give you the option to do satellite tracking once the ship is out of range of the land-based system?

damn... my TYD now shows that my production is supposed to start 7/30, whereas before it was 2 weeks prior and was supposed to be done by 7/30. This pushed out the prod complete to 8/27, 4 weeks later, pushing my delivery date back a full month to 10/10 from 9/10. Which i guess was my original expectation, but dang it, they got my hopes up!

I dont know, I just discovered it this morning. Vessel still nearing the Channel. When it hits the wide open Atlantic, I'll post a follow up. For now, it appears my 911 is coming 3 weeks sooner and I have to find auto insurance. My next need is getting the VIN.

The dealership should be able to give you the VIN now.

They have been very bad about updating their website for the last several months. Attached is a copy of the latest. If it's relevant to you, the Siem Confucius is ahead of schedule and due in to Emden on June 26th.

It also happened recently when I added another option to my car prior to the new freeze date.... As of today, I am happy to report that my freeze date was today and the system seems to have acknowledged it as the progress bar now reflects that the order has indeed froze.

Along those lines,

6/22 freeze date
7/18 scheduled production date
9/3 scheduled delivery

(2022 992 Carrera)

So true, or I hope....I just got my order submitted for a FOURTH time now, lol....This is nuts, their system is causing me more anxiety than fun.

In the last 3 weeks my freeze date has moved from 9/6 to 9/8 and then today to 9/9. Production and delivery dates etc unchanged so far. Anyone else having similar changes? I'm very much hoping this doesn't lead to production and delivery delays.
