So I haven’t dug back through the numerous pages of this thread looking for this answer but as for getting pictures of my build in progress, do I just go to my vehicles and click “discover current phase”? I’ve done that numerous times and it still says “scheduled for production” there.
But production on mine started 7/15/21 and got to the completed “CP8.0” status today, 7/21/21. I know some have gotten pics and others haven’t. Just wanted to make sure I’m not missing anything when trying to find them. Nothing yet but I’m hoping they might show up even though they aren’t anything that’s overly exciting. Thanks for any tips!
Mine came about the time it got on the boat. Yes, on the discover current phase tab.
Contacted nine SoCal dealers - only one had a November allocation. All others were a combo of $10K-$25K ADMs and/or no foreseeable allocations. I'd call out Porsche Irvine as especially awful to deal with. I'm paying MSRP which is new for me but I'm guessing MSRP pricing is normal for a 911.
November allocation for a January delivery (I have a commission number - not sure what I do with that - I know I should link my car to my Porsche registration email at some point)
TYD still said Port processing today and then got this pic from my dealer!! Picking up tomorrow! One day ahead of schedule and one week from the original Delivery Date 7/16 given in February when I got my allocation. Will share more pics

What else do I get? I don’t mind driving to get the car; I’m in OC and tbh the drive home will fly by because I’ll be so excited!
First off, if you haven't been to PEC, you really should go. It's pretty awesome. I've done the 90-minute course in a 911s, and it was fantastic. Not only is it really fun, but you learn a good deal about the car and how to drive it. The cost of this option is, as I noted, the price of the driving course. But it also includes a tour of the Porsche Experience Center facility, lunch at Restaurant 917 overlooking the track (for you and one guest), a 90-minute instructed track session in an equivalent car, and one-on-one private delivery of your new Porsche. I'm doing it on my car, a 2022 Targa 4, that arrives in October. I am forced to do so, since the dealership is in PA. However, when I almost pulled the trigger on a 911 at a local dealer, I was going to do the PEC delivery.

Congrats WS911! I am very happy for you. And glad to hear there was no delay at the port. Hopefully that means no delay for mine either.
