Ask your SA if your car is in a "NA15 - Port Handling - Quality Action" status still. Im shocked my car was unloaded 6 days after yours and was already released from the TPMS issue.

Question for those who already have an allocation secured.

From the day you secured your allocation, how long was it from that date until you received a email from Porsche so you could track your dream progress online?

Thanks!!!

one day, but I called the customer service number immediately after I went V200 said my dealer doesn’t know what to do and gave them my commission number and my email for my order. 12 hours later I got the email.

anybody here have trouble activating their Porsche ID when they first got their "track your dream" email? I got the TYD email, which included "To access your vehicle, please register on the My Porsche portal with your email address xxxx@gmail.com" ...so i did that. Got an email to "activate" my account, and that's where i create a password. Problem is upon hitting hte 'activate" button, it gives me an error while the data was being processed. Tried this a couple times, including starting over again. I called the number on the site, but the woman didn't seem to know much of anything about technology, and said she'd check into and get back to me within a day or 2. It's been 3 now, no word.

Just wondering if others have experienced issues. I submitted my order and paid the deposit a week before getting that email. Wondering if something else needs to happen for it work or if i'm just unlucky.

I got the email from Porsche with the TYD link and the order confirmation - on the other hand, I still haven't heard anything from my SA or dealer lol. Go figure.

Does the 992 have a 12 volt lighter receptacle anywhere in the car as a standard feature or does the smoking option have to be ordered. This type of receptacle makes it easy to plug in a CTEK trickle charger.

The smoking package does not offer a 12 volt receptacle. It is nothing more than an ash tray. The outlet in the passenger wall to the left will offer power, but it is notoriously unreliable when the car is turned off. Your best bet is to do a direct connect to the battery with a quick connect to your trickle charger

I just got an email from the GM at the dealership, my car has been loaded onto a truck and will be delivered to the dealership tomorrow and I should be able to pick it up tomorrow evening or on Saturday.

Less than 30 minutes. I kid you not.

Default My 992S has arrived at my dealer!

Got the call at noon! Drove to dealer to see it an hour later. SA told me that as the car was being unloaded from the transporter he had someone offer $10k over sticker for it. Was told there are very few MT being ordered and they were excited to see one. Also found out my GT3 allocation is expected to be able to be configured a year from now so probably delivered fall 2022. So I still have time to work on that build! Meantime I plan on starting getting it gently broken in this weekend and then putting as many miles on great roads as possible. I will take better pictures and upload tomorrow when I pick it up to take home. I decided to forego the PPF as I will likely trade for the GT3 before there is too much road rash.

Getting prepped in the service bay.

7 speeds no waiting!

I paid my deposit to secure my allocation on a Saturday and got the e-mail on Sunday morning. No problems with registering and accessing my status.
