That's a Canadian tax - not U.S. I've not seen anything proposed (yet) in the States. When they tried it here in 1991 it was a complete fail. Maybe I'm missing something?
My error - one of my colleagues sent me an article after telling me about it. I just assumed he was talking about a US tax.

Welcome to the club! Based on recent/current experience, the fact that you found an allocation from anyone right away is surprising - very fortunate. Good choice on the color, BTW and I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that once your C4S arrives you're not going to be missing that S4 anymore. Also, if timing of delivery is an issue check with your dealership as the Atlanta PEC delivery experience can add several weeks or more to your delivery timeline. I opted out of that when I heard of the delay (mine was going to be about a month) and went to the PEC as a separate trip.
Thanks... Yeah, i read that somewhere on this board about Atlanta delivery. The only concern I have about timing is I don't want to be driving it back to northern VA in November if it's going to be sub 40 degrees with those summer tires on. Otherwise, i can wait to experience the Atlanta delivery.

My C2S manual is Gentian Blue. I think if you wanted a unique color, you should have gone PTS. After all there are only about 15 stock colors to choose from.

I don't mind the color on the C2S, it is the C4S that upsets me
First time poster. Just thought I'd share my timeline to add to the data points. C4S PDK Agate Grey, SPASM and RAS. Put down deposit on May 15th with dealer in NYC, was told I was fifth on the wait list, and got an email today with order confirmation and link to TYD. Lock date July 8th, build date September 3rd, delivery date October 8th. Wish me luck
Spoke with the GM at the dealership today, to check the status of my car at the port in RI. He says they have 5 customer cars held up there waiting on the update. He is hoping they get there this week he would like to have the sales in the month of May.........we shall see.
