I am also on the RCC Europe. I’m told by my SA that cars should unload this weekend, but getting cleared to get on trucks requires inspection by Porsche. Expect to take possession of my C2S manual in Carmine Red in one week barring any surprises.

That's interesting - mine went CP 8.0 on 6/11 as well, but started production a month ago on 5/12. Wonder if that means mine got all the TPMS sensors at the factory during that time and yours didn't or perhaps mine was one of the last of the backlog and cars going forward won't have issues?

You raise some good questions! Even if it wasn't TPMS-related, it sounds like there was something holding-up the completion of your car, and when those parts came in, both cars were completed.

My SA says he expects to hear from Porsche on Monday, but a fellow shipmate of ours was told by his SA car will be held up due to TPMS issues and not to expect delivery until later in the month.

They have been very late in updating their website recently. I have been able to get updates directly from PWL Group in the past and have just now sent an email requesting an updated schedule. Will post it if/when I hear back from them.

Alexwberg, lots of posts re:TPMS. Was/is your car on the RCC Europe? If so, what does your SA say?

it is. my SA hasn’t said a word on them, but then he hasn’t been helpful. I never got a link for Track My Dream for instance - just said it was buggy after repeated requests.

My understanding is that your SA is not going to know if your car needs TPMS installation at the port. Depends on availability at the factory when your car went through and if not available, they will be installed at the port when available. Porsche doesn't communicate much (any) with the dealerships during the production process. If there is a delay at the port, the dealership can get that info from the port processing facility, but not directly from Porsche.

Good news. Mine started on 6/10…but my SA said to expect an extra week in production due to PTS. Sounds odd but he’s been spot on with everything else.
