TYD is notoriously inaccurate for many once the car reaches the port. I received the email from Porsche stating that my car was on it's way to the dealership from Baltimore while I was at the dealership taking delivery. Your dealership is normally notified by the port by email when your car is assigned/on a truck - I got the heads up on that from my sales manager so its arrival prior to TYD dates was not a surprise.

I'm just a little neurotic because my dealer is 15 miles away from the port so it could literally be any minute! It's so close I can taste it!
hey all, first time poster, now that I just put in an order for a Gentian blue C4s in the 7spd manual. Expected delivery is mid October. Out of 7 dealers i contacted, only 1 had an allocation for a C4s. Crazy. I'm a first time Porsche buyer, though. Selling my Imola Yellow S4 6 spd, so with my love of yellow, was a tough choice between the gentian blue and racing yellow, but alas, i decided to draw a little less attention to myself. I do so love the S4, sad to see it go, but psyched to finally get my dream car. And yes, i ordered the Atlanta experience.
Arrived in time without delays and actually one month ahead of schedule. This is a sneak peak my SA sent me. Picking up next weekend after it goes for ppf and window tint.
So I got my allocation last week for a September build for my C2S. Told my dad, and now he has also put down a deposit for a C2S, this will be awesome! Can go for father-son drives! He had a 2002 C4S when I was growing up and never let me drive it even after I got my license!
Received the email that my C2S had finished production on May10th along with this lovely photo of it! The original delivery estimate was June 25th. But on TYD it keeps being moved. CP8.0 is now not until June 11th and delivery July 23rd. Totally confused as to how I can receive the email and photo saying it had finished production and being prepped for ship, now on TYD it won’t finish production until a month later. Is TYD accurate?
