Hopefully TYD works better in the future. I never saw pictures of assembly line. I even emailed Porsche, I think they just give people a generic answer Delivery date has been all over the place in the last 2 weeks. It has been in port of Baltimore for 2 weeks now. They should just do away withTYD.

Assuming cars get to ports as scheduled, how long does it take on average for them to be picked up by the dealership? What’s the process once it gets to the dealership before it is ready for one to come get it and sign papers? Ballpark figures is enough.

The pictures actually show up on "discover current phase" mine took exactly 10 days after production was complete. Some are not getting any pictures some get two, I got one of my car apparently having a CT scan

I think I am going to be one ofthose with no pictures but truly I am getting the car over two weeks earlier than promised and TYD has been very accurate in notifying me of each stage AFTER completion, that if the camera was off when my car went buy I am totally fine with it. Rather have the car than the picture and so far they have more than delivered on their promise to me

Asked the same question but not sure if anyone truly knows. I think there might be some preliminary QC done as well as some prepurchase work that likely takes a day or two depending on the volume of cars at the port and then it is off to the dealer for them to finish. Best guestimates I have had are 2-3 days at port and then 1-2 days at dealer. So pickup from dealer in as little as two days and as long as 5 days on average.

Completion date just 2 days away (Dec. 11). C4S, c-ceramic brakes, rear wheel steering, and most important—rear window wiper 😁

We have the same completion date. Where are you and when is it supposed to arrive at the dealer?

May I ask what exact day you placed your deposit and got a confirmation number from your dealer?

TYD had the car estimated at dealer 12/11. Then updated to 12/4. It is still at port in Baltimore. Hope you have a better experience than me. Glad this is the first and last 911 I will buy new. Going to keep her forever. Next car I add will be a new Corvette for wife or a late model Mclaren.

Well, I have purchased brand new from the Baton Rouge Porsche dealer before. So this time, I called with all info of my McLaren that I was willing to trade in. When we agreed on a price, I delivered my car to the dealer on Oct. 20, went over details of what I wanted, and got confirmation # on Oct. 28. But keep in mind, I essentially put down a $125,000. deposit, and I have bought new from them before -- last time putting down a $100,000. deposit (it was another McLaren!), and I always pay the balance in cash when the car arrives. (And just so I don't get flamed for throwing $ figures around, I was surprised in the poll that was posted about "how much money do you make to afford a Porsche" -- I was closer to the bottom numbers, rather than the top -- it has a lot to do with your cost of living, how well you earn v. spend, and how you let your $ earn you $ ....)

So my car has started arriving piecemeal ...... I got the wheels now I just need the rest of the car.

Got my winter wheels and clear side markers courtesy of @getPorscheparts - was worried that the car would arrive before the wheels as they were special order but they arrived super fast in just 3 weeks and are now waiting to be put on my C2 which right now is riding the waves on Asian King
