My C2S Cab is on the Viking Bravery for West Coast delivery. Though my dealer is in So Cal, I had ordered a PECLA delivery. TYD has into port 12/30, with @PECLA tentatively for 1/3/21. Just got the email from PCNA that due to Covid, PECLA is booked until March, and they don't have March dates to book yet. Bummer, I'm not going to wait until March for delivery, but have to decide on cancelling PECLA outright or taking local deliver and "postponing " the driving experience until later.

My car is also on Viking Bravery. TYD says Jan 1 for me, but the shipping co says San Diego on Dec 28th. I'm sure the dealers want the 28th to close as many as possible before the year end.

Yeah, I'm not sure why, but PECLA deliveries enter at Benicia as opposed to San Diego. Viking Bravery just docked in Rotterdam a n hour ago.

So I have a commission number for a vehicle scheduled to arrive at the dealership 2/5 and something in writing from my dealership but nothing on TYD. So far I’ve gone in circles twice with Porsche and my dealership but still nothing. The SA is going to fire off an e-mail to try and resolve it. He says it’s the new system’s fault. The Porsche agents in Mozambique and India say it’s the dealer, the SA says it’s Porsche. The problem may be I already have a Porsche on My Porsche. Any suggestions?
I had the same problem, but called up 1-800-PORSCHE and asked the customer service rep to update my email address on my order. The rep asked for my commission number and updated all the details. After a few days I could suddenly access TYD (didn't even get an email, just appeared on MyPorsche one day).

Has TYD or your dealer given you the ship name to track? If you can time it right, you can watch the ship come into the harbor.

Also funny, Utah, at great expense, is building an inland port.

I’d have the dealer remove the film and do a hand wash and inspect the paint before sending out. If you wait for the PPF installer to notice something after it’s left the dealer lot, it’s their/your word against the dealer if you notice any imperfections at that point. Find imperfections before it leaves the dealer.

Yeah I thought about this but will probably peel myself and look at dealer...I really don't want them to wash with their most likely dirty water with dirty rags/cloths...

Thanks. FWIW I tried that to no avail. I had to have my SA call them to straighten things out and I'm finally able to track it on TYD. Never did get a welcome e-mail.

My 2021 C2 is scheduled to arrive late March or early April. Not sure how I am going to deal with a 4 month wait. First time I have ordered a car. I am driving a 718 Boxster GTS so that will help a little.

What ever you do do not pre-trade. I pre-traded to lock in a price as part of the deal and to get the tax advantage and although I have not been waiting nearly as long as some of the poor people on the board I am still two months without my Boxster and it torture.

Thank you for the heads up. No plans to trade until the car arrives.

Default TYD not working

Is anyone else having trouble with TYD? I tried clearing cookies etc and I still get this. I called this morning and they told me a lot of people are having this and they’re working on it, but it didn’t sound too convincing.

May be an update. But try clearing your cache. That worked for me last week.
