I am trying to be patient, I just got an email from Porsche that my freeze point is approaching in early September. My car is due mid-November. GT Silver, Carrera Exclusive Design Wheels, Glass Sunroof, Premium and Sport Packages, 18 way seats. The build code is PMW7GCI9.

I love Agate Grey. It should be a stunner.

My car finally arrived after 6 months wait!
Though I won't be able to drive it for another week and a half as I requested from the dealer to take it straight to detailing shop for the usual stuff.

I’ve tweaked my build a little.
Decided that I’m far more likely to regret not getting those couple of finishing touches, than firmly sticking to a predetermined budget. Also seeing threads pop up about regrets and retrofitting - I could see myself ending up in the same position.
FWIW I was trying to keep the ceiling of my C2 build being no more than a no option C2S.
December build I’m told.
PTS non metallic grey (still undecided which)
C2S wheels in silver
14 way seats
Truffle Interior with crayon stitching
Aluminium window trim
Model designation delete
Acoustic and privacy glass
Sports silver (quads) tailpipes
930 leather (quilting) package
Crest on headrests
Wood trim
Alcantara headlining
Leather visors
Leather steering column
Key in PTS in leather pouch
Heated (non GT) steering wheel
Seat Ventilation
Bose
When it arrives, I plan to:
Black rubber mats
Aerokir/turbo engine lid (deleting 3rd brake light)
Tint front side windows
It’s fantastic that (unlike the “sporty” options) you can basically option in any “luxury” option into a C2. You’d think there would be a requirement to have say a C2S to get the natural leathers and/or PTS.
It then becomes more apparent the 911 model separation / hierarchy is more about (arguably unnecessary) horsepower than anything else.
I think a mistake on Porsche’s part, but who am I to question it particularly when I’m taking advantage of it.
Plan still is to pair this with a matching GT product. Externally/aesthetically similar but with a different focus on the interior and overall purpose.
