Same happened to me. No clue from SA either. Hopefully a glitch... although it's been over a week since my change dates.

Your salesperson should be able to tell if you car is on a ship.

I live relatively close to the port of Baltimore which is comprised of multiple ports. The VW Group vehicles enter at the port in Sparrow's Point, the former site of Bethlehem Steel. I swung by there yesterday and saw the VW Vehicle Processing Center (VPC). Apparently VW committed to building this state of the art VPC as part of their penance from the emissions scandal. There's security and fencing all over the place but I was able to see the Porsche building in the distance. Right next to the VW VPC is a BMW VPC. At the dock was a ship named "Donington" which I also saw from a distance (you can't get too close to anything). New bimmers were being unloaded from the Donington and parked outside the VPC. It was an interesting, well choreographed process to watch.

By far, the dominant vehicle on the VW lot was the Audi Q5 - must be a great seller in the eastern US.

Anyway, my 992 is on the SFL Conductor due to arrive at Sparrows Point in about a week after a stop in Halifax. I'm hoping to get a couple pics of the ship and if I'm crazy lucky, maybe a shot of my car being driven to the lot.

The things we do while we wait for our cars...

So I got my pics and notification on 6/6 that GTS is complete. Yet it's still in production in the TYD and my delivery to dealer got pushed to 10/28. No information provided by SA.

Dilemma. Currently have spec'd guards red, but now thinking of PTS Mexico Blue. Could delete ACC (have turned it off on every car I've owned) and front axle lift (driveway not steep) to save a little less than half the cost.

The Mexico Blue looks outstanding. Delete FAL for sure. ACC I like and is now a must for me personally, but if you never use it then delete that too. problem solved! almost.

To folks on the SFL Conductor - heads up, she's off the coast of Nova Scotia and hopefully will get a parking spot in Halifax tomorrow. Following Halifax is Baltimore maybe early next week.

Just two days from my freeze date, and now I join the ranks of those who have been hit by the delay mystery delay. TYD says production date is TBD, and my C2S build has reverted back to “order confirmed”.

Sad trombone.

Not officially waiting for my 992 Targa 4S yet, since I can’t get an allocation. BUT, I will add for the sake of discussion that my Taycan GTS ST has been produced and sitting at Emden with a estimated delivery date of 8/19 to greater Seattle and just got bumped to 9/9. So I assume the boat was full of other VW group products, and they decided to just leave her (“Elsa”) sitting over there on the dock to catch the next one.

Delivery date just changed from 9/16 to 10/28. Car was scheduled for production in July but now delayed due to the summer break for the manufacture plant.

I was past my lock date. Build date was a week out. Today, TYD seems like it totally cleared itself out. All the estimated dates are gone. My build is still in there, but seems to be delayed. I know I was right up against the model year change. But, the estimated delivery date of 8/28 held firm for weeks. Now appears in limbo.

Porsche App drives me crazy. I logged in to check the status on my own . It flashed a status of stage 4 which is build complete for 1/2 second. Now it states scheduled for build. I know it is built because I received a vin.

Now it states sight unavailable...check back later.

Oh well.

I will wait....about 30 seconds and then check back!
