TYD said order was created on first posting. Now it shows how many days until freeze point and estimated days till arrival at dealership. These are just estimates and I have heard of things moving faster.

I put in a request a few days ago for PTS on my C2 order, and received positive news on that yesterday.
Covers off all plausible avenues for me.
Best case I receive a gt3t and can also justify keeping the c2, and they both match. C2 I use as a semi daily, 5-10kms a year. Gt3t say 2kms a year.
2nd scenario is getting the gt3t allocation, but can’t justify also keeping c2. I’ll take a hit on the c2, but happy to have done so to have seen the pts choice on the actual (well, 90% similar) car.
3rd scenario I don’t get the gt3t allocation or the economy takes a massive dump and I need to keep the $ I would otherwise be spending, I still have a c2 that is special to me.
So pretty chuffed all round.

If not, I’ll probably wait for a GT3T in 2035 when my kids are grown up.

Backseats in the GT3T are important to me as well and I impressed this strongly some months ago. I’ve been reassured it will not be an issue, but until everything is official and confirmed, it’s all hearsay.

Received a call on Friday night to say that my PTS selection requests for Daytona Grey or Volcano Grey were declined.
Apparently time is of the essence so I’ve instead been told what is approved and to choose from that list by Monday.
Wife believes it’s a blessing in disguise as she’s now convinced me to go with one of the non-metallic greys, which she has been saying all the while that I was considering metallics.

Congratulations!!! I didn't get my VIN until my car was in production--but I did manage to get TYD before that after a lot of hounding Porsche NA via phone calls and emails. Good luck!

Wondering if anyone here on the east coast is on the Mediterranean Highway with the first load of 2021 cars. The ship is docking in Davisville today but most of us have a Sept 11 delivery date. Jacksonville is next and then Houston on the 19th.
