No one getting shipped to Davisville or Baltimore got a message they've been loaded or otw? According to the schedule Siem Cicero got loaded yday and today.
my freeze date went backwards by like 4 days and step 3 is now also earlier on 7/10. Production start date of 7/25 seems similar though so I don’t know what to believe. I think they like to mess with the folks that refresh the app too often!
My freeze date went backwards as well from 7/8 to 7/2. I guess I will have a few days to feel as if my car will coming early and be somewhat excited. Then it will go back to original delivery date.
It is just pulling in now. I wonder how long will my 911 Targa on this ship will be at the port before shipping to South Florida. I am headed out of town on vacation this weekend so plenty of time for it to get down here and get PPF and clear markers before delivery at the end of the month when I am back. Selling my AMG tomorrow back to benz dealer instead of trading in for much less.
Odd that delivery of a 992.2 will happen before the delivery of my 992 CS.
Agree. My Targa GTS has also been delayed. Initial estimates were August 18, then September 2, now... a window between September 27 and November 8 .
Reached out to my SA, and his system showed estimated arrival to the showroom October 14. He was puzzled as he said many of his other orders were actually pushed up, and was not sure why mine was pushed back. I assume it is because of the extra stuff I added (PDCC, matrix headlights, etc).
Not OP, but it is heritage. You can make out the badge on the wood dash.
Gotcha. One catch though, the optional heritage package does not come with the wood dash. In this case it would be cognac leather. To my understand only the Sport Classic Heritage interior came with the wood.
its certainly possible it was done early. my understanding is august is when the factory shuts down (given thats when most europeans go on "holiday" lol). let us know if it exits the factory before the end of the month and heads to the port!
This is my 3rd Porsche 911 that I ordered from scratch. The last 2 were delayed not sure why and my dealer could not find out why. If this one is delivered before scheduled delivery it would be a gift. The hardest part is that a few of my friends who ordered Ferraris their scheduled deliveries were always on time. The one answer I haven’t found is what percentage of 911’s are delayed vs on time delivery’s.

I haven’t received a message yet and I’m going to Baltimore. Been at port for about 3 weeks. Fingers crossed.

No, mine still shows as "arrived at the German port" and has been sitting there since June 4th. I checked this morning, and the boat was still sitting there, so I am just hoping that none of the updates went out yet.

Yep, as of right now Cicero is still in Emden port.
My Carrera T arrived. Fabulous service at Porsche Norwell. Drove it to PPF and Radenzo radar install. Love the drive. Also very happy with my options. Leather with deviated stitching is beautiful and 18 position seats great.
Love SporTech inserts
GT silver is beautiful.
White taillights look great
Only issue is road noise on less than perfect roads. Will actually install sound deadening. Will see if that works. Thanks to this group for advice and support
Congrats, Lovely car. Be sure and double check tire pressure. When I drove home on delivery day with my GT Silver 992 the dealer had tire pressures wayyyy too high. Lowering the pressure quieted things down a bit (and improved the ride). For me, it took a little getting used to (my first 911). After some time with the car, I actually brought the tire pressures back up somewhat to firm things up a touch. I would suggest living with the car a while before tearing apart thinking you want sound deadening. Congrats again!
My lock date moved three days earlier to 7/2 like others here but there is not posted start of manufacturing date.
How long do people typically wait between step 2 and step 3?
Edit: …and now my lock date moved to 6/30 with no other scheduled dates for future steps. Should be a good thing but starting to get nervous my car will be delayed.

Here is my current timeline on my Turbo S, being built this week:
I am OUT, again. My Turbo S arrived a couple days ago. It's made its short trailer ride to be PPF'd. As always, thanks to this forum for keeping me entertained while waiting. To everyone else waiting, god speed.
P.S. I know this color isn't for everyone but damn! I love it!

My freeze date went backwards too. Hopefully a good sign.
