Official waiting room for those with a new 992 on order --- come on in !!
me! My C2S is onboard with yours. It arrived at the port on 3/12 and left today!
My C2S completed production on 3/10, arrived at Emden on 3/12, and left Emden on 3/16 UTC (3/15 for me). I don’t know how I got so lucky, but I love it!

I don’t want to say this, but this was a super fast build for me. Signed my buyer’s order on 2/3. Car locked that same week. Build completed on 2/28 and on the ship as of 3/15. Looks like I will have the car first week of April. So, 8-weeks to custom order a 911 which is super fast and pretty unheard of.
With that said, I feel for our fellow forum members who have been waiting since January on built cars. The chip problem slowed them down but likely working in favor of recently built cars as they were already retrofitted and ready to ship and deliver. Think of it like ordering food at a drive through, park cars with orders waiting and keep others flowing through.
Last time, when I ordered my 2022 Spyder, I was delayed due to the Felicity Ace sinking and cars needed to be rebuilt and re-shipped to customers in front of my build. It was a while so I purchased a “tweener” Cayman GTS 4.0 and enjoyed that car for a few months.
It’s a process. Sometimes it works in your favor.

Wow, some of these date sequences seem very rapid - I was told (assuming my allocation holds up) was 3/28 lock, delivery sometime in mid June. 10-11 weeks.
SFL Conductor
I don’t see much chatter about the SFL Conductor getting ready to dock at Emden. I’ve got my fingers crossed I’m on it for Baltimore, after getting dissed by the Ace the other day.

2024 992 C4S
My C4S is scheduled to start production on March 19, complete on April 12, and at the dealer in Tucson, AZ on May 31. I'll give updates when available.
Anyone else got a vehicle on SFL Composer? It was supposed to land in Baltimore March 15th, around 1800 ET but it seems like now it's hovering off the coast of Virginia Beach. I'm wondering in the Port of Baltimore is backed up. I've read before that's one of the worst ports in the country because it's one of the busiest and then combined with labor issues. I know there's a lot probably a lot of restricted maneuvering in Chesapeake Bay. Can ROROs fit down the Chesapeake & Delaware Canal?

Yes, ROROs can absolutely go through on the C&D Canal and regularly do so at a good clip. A bit over a year ago, I tracked the Siem Cicero going through the C&D canal traveling upwards of 12+ knots en route to the Baltimore port where it dropped off my Taycan.

It's a long weekend here so my SA had to rely on the security personnel to get me pics, which was very kind of him. You can't tell from these pics but stitching is Mamba Green. Time to excuse myself from this thread. Good luck to all those still in the wait.
