May car made it to Baltimore about a week ago. Typically, once cars hit Baltimore, they get to my dealer in 1-2 days. Maybe with the holiday it got delayed or maybe they're waiting to fill a carrier before taking mine.
Either way...I'm anxious. Euro Delivery GT3 was 4/17, so still at about the quoted time to get to the dealer. But dang, this home stretch is the worst.

I hope it's not based on that. I ordered at Huntington and they never have any cars.

I know from touring the BMW VDC in NJ, that the tour guide said that the speed at which your car gets out of there is related to truck capacity from the specific dealer - the trucks always leave with a full load of cars because they cost too much to operate for partial loads. So if a truck holds 8 cars let's say, your dealer's truck waits until it has 8 cars at the VDC before it makes the delivery run. Maybe Porsche is different, I don't know.

That's one LI dealer I never tried, after getting nowhere on an allocation at Freeport and then Legend. So I went to Ray Catena.

I called them in January just to see and they had a base, S, gts allocation. No luck at South shore and gold coast are extortionists. I guess I was fortunate even though they have a mandatory 720 equipment package as adm. I see people's delivery pictures and most are sent in enclosed carriers which shouldn't carry 8 cars. We'll see! Davisville arrival early June 1 then I'll bother the SA for details.
