It’s tiny, so no problems. I’m sure it is bagged and all is safe. Installing it later means it will be unscathed once you receive it.

Hah yes, hoping it just pops up on the other side of Atlantic. My TYD shows the Davisville stop — the route isn’t accurate in any case.

The ship could be out of transponder range but still trackable by satellite (Vesselfinder indicates there’s a real time satellite track available behind a pay wall).
I estimate the Conductor is now 700 nautical miles from Davisville since its last reported position (provided no additional delays). If so, It’s on course for its scheduled 5/21 arrival. If it makes 5/23 port in Jacksonville afterwards then I think my car will be early by a week or so. Fingers crossed🤞🏽

Very interesting, my TYD shows ~700 miles to destination.

EDIT: actually, ~600 miles.

Sometimes, it’s not good to ask certain questions— you may not like the answers. Kinda like finding out how a sausage is made. 😝

The spoiler lip is in a long thin plastic bag with no padding, haphazardly tossed into the car, with one end in the passenger footwell and it’s flexible length contorted against the passenger seat and whatever other interior trim it brushes up against. Other items, such as the license plate bracket and cup holder cubby, are also in bags, just tossed into the front passenger seat of the car.

Ha! Thanks so much! Seems like we are all here for the “sausage making” — I learned a lot about vessel tracking and how vehicle carriers operate. The pic is very helpful!

Can’t really figure out what ship my T is on. It shows last update was 5/15 (the day I Got the milestone update) and this picture has looked the same for the last two days. It was at Emden since 5/3.

Not everyone is so snarky over there but they try to find fault with the person making a post or comment in almost every situation.
The reply I got back from the gentleman here about my situation was like very kind and supportive. Whereas my experience in the Ferrari forums probably someone would say something like, "yea haven't you seen that we all have to wait!? do a search!" or "why did you spec your car like that, you should have gotten this other option or remove this thing so you could have avoided this situation" or "wow... never would have thought that a youtuber would have gotten a delay..." (smart remarks). On the forums some people share text, some people share pics, some people share videos. I like to post videos of my experiences because its sort of a hobby for me but some people hate anyone that does anything on youtube especially in ferrari world. But I digress.
Again, people around here generally seem to be very nice and helpful. Just an observation.

Thanks for your insights. I agree, people here are generally supportive, which adds the enjoyment of our hobby.

For sure! Imagine having a fun car but not being able to talk about it or share things about your car/experience because you're worried about people being ********.
I'm appreciative of this community. But yea, still waiting for an update on my 992 to say it's actually finished.

From what I have been seeing on this thread, there is a good chance I could go into the finished state any day now especially since I got a picture of the car being done or almost done. Fingers crossed.

My C4GTS build got accepted 5/16 with a 6/5 Freeze date and 8/11 delivery date. This “Track your dream” app is going to be fun to keep up with the build. Awesome seeing all your photos of cars coming down the assembly line. I toured the factory back in 2019, and dreamed of one day ordering my first brand new 911, and it’s happening. God is good!

Might still add Aero kit
