I'm also joining this thread, expecting my delivery to S. Florida on 6/2..... not without a drama with SFL Conductor drifting in Atlantic Ocean for a few days. Does anyone happen to know who attaches the front lip spoiler, which seems to be missing in the elevator pictures? I assume it's the dealer, but where is the piece for them to install?

SFL Conductor - wait two days and ask again.....
The boats go out of range over open water. There is a way to see them via satellite, but you have to pay to get that information.

@FourFourTwo - yes, that is GT Silver deviated stitching. I had debated GTS interior with chalk, but my OCD wanted the stitching to match the GT Silver body. The silver/gray belts, 930, and a few other things really make the interior a fantastic place to me. Thrilled with it.
@audi4t - spot on. The team at Porsche Perimeter have been a pleasure to work with and couldn't have made the delivery any easier. The delays are out of their control. Hopefully look forward to more great cars from them in the future.

It’s interesting; the TYD website shows “miles to destination” which has continued to tick down for SFL Conductor over the last week. Either it’s pulling data from another source (such as satellite) or it’s just a mechanical countdown based on estimated number of days remaining — I hope it’s the former but suspect it’s the latter. The ship could be out of transponder range but still trackable by satellite (Vesselfinder indicates there’s a real time satellite track available behind a pay wall).

[QUOTE=Zanotti;19446249]I’m in Southern California. Tomorrow is the day my build starts!! My wife is confused by how exciting this is. Hopefully no build delays as I’ve seen that on this thread recently. I have a pretty straight forward spec nothing unusual.

After everything going through so quickly---and my car being built and shipped ahead of schedule---she's delayed in Davisville... My dealer said a couple of other cars arrived yesterday from the same ship so I'm hoping that my car gets on the next transport soon.
Oh no! Myself and another person here also had our cars delayed at Davisville. Where is your car headed to?
I’ve also been checking the Emden to West Coast thread for more info.

The front splitter as well as well as the center caps travel with the car on the interior of the front passenger side. They are installed during PDI at your selling dealer. The shipping blocks are removed during that time as well.

Thank you. That was my guess as well, given that it’s painted and hence should be shipped with the car. However, it’s not exactly compact, so it's interesting how they manage to store it inside without damaging anything while leaving enough space for shipping personnel to move the car around multiple times. I'm curious if anyone has a picture of how it is stored.
