I was just loaded onto the AMETHYST ACE, ship is still at the dock for now but should be headed out soon. Anyone else on this ship should start seeing notifications on TYD right now.
How do you find out if your car made it onto a ship? Is that something in TYD or is taht something you have to get from your SA?
TYD told me "your car has left the port". The ship is still moored now, but the car must have a barcode that is scanned as soon as its loaded and the notification goes out through TYD.

Thanks bro this is encouraging. Man I can't get over how much nicer people are around here than on the Ferrari forums... Goodness.
Makes my decision to sell the 488 and get a 911 much more enjoyable. Thanks you guys.
Interesting… What would your experience have been (hypothetically) on the Ferrari forums in this situation?
No, you have to use the website hack posted here to get that. But since there is only one ship in the port now headed to my destination, it has to be that one that I was loaded onto.
For now I can confirm the ship name isn't in the website output, maybe that will change when its gets underway:
"headline": " Your vehicle has left the German port",
"description": "Not long ago your Porsche was driven onto its vessel by port personnel, was carefully strapped down to keep it safe on its voyage and is now making its way to North America. Typically, such vessels can carry between 5,000 to 8,000 cars, all of which are secured and parked on board in a way to make offloading the vehicles as efficient as possible. This is especially important, since the vessel may make multiple stops to offload cargo on its way, and the less time it takes at these stops, the sooner you will be driving your Porsche. ",

Just got the email too! Should be in long Island in 2-3 weeks. Can't wait.
Taken a few days to get back to this thread, but happy to say car was delivered Wed May 15. Total time was ~20 months from list deposit, build allocation (July 2023) and a delayed delivery. But wow was it worth the wait. I traded a 718 BGTS 4.0, moving to 992 GTS. Beyond impressed. A few quirks to work out - online radio/spotify/apple music does not work thru PCM (can use Carplay, but want to resolve PCM), and driver door takes a solid close and looks like an alignment tweak would help. It drives so well. Was mindful of how the GTS SPASM would feel compared to 718 BGTS, but honestly, it just rides better and not harsh at all. And all that is on the Pirellis, which aren't that bad! Keeping below 4K rpm is hard. Installed clear side markers on day one, and hopefully more tweaks to come.
To all those waiting - stay patient, it is more than worth it!

looks like Perimeter Porsche - congratulations neighbor ‼️
I was on the Siem Aristotle which arrived in Davisville last weekend and TYD updated with enroute to dealer this morning and then the final preparations are being made step just about an hour ago! Have yet to hear from my sales guy but hoping to sign the papers tomorrow and have the car delivered to my detailer on Monday!!!
Congrats on making a fast exit from Davisville, hopefully you will have it back from PPF for the long weekend!
How have other people waiting on their cars being released from Davisville been fairing? My car has been trapped there since 4/23.

Yes, there is a tracker on the backside of the production number paper affixed to the top right of the windshield.

My TYD still has my car sitting at Davisville this morning and was supposed to go to the dealer yesterday. I hope she isn't getting too friendly with all the other Porsches there and deciding to hang out for awhile.

Thanks for the update on your progress, hopefully it moves out soon!
