I would get it, I specced it. It’s piece of mind and an extra layer of protection. It should come standard but Porsche will be Porsche… only con is the cost.
Hey all - TYD is showing my 992T as shipped as of yesterday with a final destination of Houston. I tried finding the ship identifier through the F12 process but I'm not seeing anything. Looked on one of the websites that tracks departing ships and it was showing the EMS Highway (hope that's not a bad omen) as a vehicle transport that departed shortly before I got the notification through TYD. Did anyone else on here's car get shipped yesterday with final destination of Houston, and if so were you able to figure out what ship you are on? In related news this is so exciting, I've wanted a 911 since I was 12!!!
my 911T shipped on the same date I believe, also headed to Houston. From what I gather we are on the Lake Taupo. It is heading to Davisville first and then on to Houston. Port of Houston had it scheduled to arrive on the 23rd. I am excited as well but I think my daughter might be more so. She keeps asking “when is your porsh going to be here?”

For everyone on the SFL Composer, looks like we're heading to Jacksonville with a ETA this coming Tuesday 8/8. I'm hoping to catch a quick truck ride from Jacksonville to North Carolina 🙏. My order went in on 3/27. I had a few delays in production, but it feels good coming into the home stretch.

Was on the Composer - car should have been dropped off in Davisville yesterday. No update via TYD but I’m assuming it was due to it being a weekend. Hopefully the car will breeze through without delay. ETA at dealer is listed as 8/9.
