Looks like I will be missing the conductor too. 😞. Three fugging months to ship.

Dude!!! Not cool, I’m sorry to hear that. I hope you still make it and end of month means July 20, that would still put you on the conductor. Also hope you know your SA well. I would have lost my s#$t if I got a note like that with “(again, lol)”. This is not a laughing matter.

I wouldn’t bank that you will miss a ship. They have no clue until their system updates when the ship leaves port, just like us.

Yea, I thought that was very distasteful (unless that’s how they normally communicate with each other).

I doubt the “lol” was meant to be distasteful. Younger generations use that phrase as a virtual “eye roll” as well. Or a “f*ck me what else can happen?”

An SA should not use “lol” in this kind of situation. Completely out of place.

My SA is a super nice guy and he knows me. He even put me on a waitlist for a 2024 T. I’m mostly pissed because I pushed my paint guy to get the factory aerokit painted for it.

Question: On the Marine Traffic site, is the 'reported ETA' accurate? It will not let me view calculated ETA cuz its behind a paywall but I am thinking 'reported' might be more accurate as it sounds as if it is updated by the boat? I am checking on Violet Ace and it continues to state that reported ETA in JAX is tomorrow, just trying to make sure. thanx.

Just my 2 cents and I’m a millennial!

But it sounds like they have a mutual understanding that it’s not done in a distasteful way (though I still think “lol” in professional settings is misplaced).

Also a millennial, and I agree with your here. It sounds like there was no harm done.

My SA is much older than I am, so we communicate via wait for it… phone calls…
