Well
Just got a call from my sales rep...car apparently arrived to the dealer at 4pm today...so I guess it just never updated that it left Halifax.
I should be taking reception on Tuesday of my GT3 992 2024
excitement is pretty intense right now haha

That’s incredible news. Congrats. I will hope for the same ****ty accuracy of TYD for mine now. They set you up for the worst and then surprise you with good news (although likely not intentional).

Enjoy that GT3!!!

I have got a sneaky suspicion this morning that my paint to sample request may have been approved as the below has recently changed in the past few hours to display the following statement in TYD. Note, my original freeze date was not until the first of October so no clue why I would be approaching the next milestone. Fingers crossed!

yea that mirrored what I saw when mine was accepted as well. What color are you doing?

Currently Bahama Yellow. Torn if I should have ordered Signal Yellow. SA initially stated that I would be able to change it after approval. I was originally scheduled for November production, which I have noticed you are as well. Has your freeze date closed?

I like Bahama with the slate grey accents and it’s a period correct T color.

mine locked technically july 20th because of PTS but I submitted 3 or 4 changes to the build that my SA was able to get through PCNA (buckets, leather eyc) but not color changes.

It should be spec’ed with the standard interior and silver grey belts. I have read that the slate grey accents are barely noticeable.

Yes, I fully agree. BY will definitely look good with Agate Grey accents.

Does anyone know if any ships were headed to Baltimore around the 8/1 timeframe or later? I've been stuck at TYD step 7 for some time now. It shows an estimated departure of 8/2. Really hoping there was a boat available and I got on it but maybe it's just wishful thinking. I realize I won't know for sure until I reach step 8 and get a vessel number.

Call your sales guy at your Porsche dealership. If your car made it on a boat, it’s a 100% fact that they know exactly what the name of it is. Having said that the Siem Cicero just left Baltimore this morning. They dropped my car off there. It’s on its way to Jacksonville now.

Don’t mean to be the bearer of bad news but step 8 is fairly accurate. Meaning if you are stuck on step 7, that means your car hasn’t left Emden yet. Once it arrives stateside your dealer will have more accurate info than TYD.
My car sat at port for over a month and others have experienced the same delays.
Delays seem to be a bit more common than in months past.
When I take delivery next week, my vehicle will be delayed almost exactly a month from the original ETA. Production was ahead of schedule, it was the port where things slowed down.
