i’d love to try that. I’ve only driven one manual transmission Porsche and that was an RS4. it’s like riding a bike bro. You’ll never forget. Besides, I learned on manual transmissions when I was 10 years old.

I'm not sure that would be an improvement. "Everything is fine at the port, we are just completely incapable of managing the flow of vehicles, accurately predicting that flow, and accurately and honestly communicating with our customers."

That's a long-standing complaint and not just with Porsche. The pandemic and Ukraine situation exacerbated the problem. In any event, I think the manufacturers figured out, a long time ago, that giving out less information led to less hassles (for them). And while it pisses people off, there isn't much anybody can do about it.

I mentioned to a friend that I can't get any kind of detailed explanation for the weird delay in my GT3 order. The friend, not really a car guy, asked if I could cancel the order. I was like, "What! Are you nuts?". LOL

And that's the situation in general with Porsche. If we don't like it, they don't much care 'cause more people want them than can get them.

Hopefully I'm on that boat as well. My car got to Emden on Wednesday 6/28. And then I got a toy from Kjell.

It’s time to move on from this thread. I took possession yesterday and she looks happy in her new home. Good luck to all of you and see you on the other side!

Fingers crossed I make this boat. After a month delay in production it sure would be nice to catch a break.

Has anyone gotten any TYD notifications being loaded onto Neptune Barcelona? I'm waiting to be loaded... missed Glovis Sunlight... if I miss Neptune Barcelona, next is Wild Rose Leader arriving into Emden next week.

Default How accurate is production dates on the app

Hi all. Have a Turbo S Cab in process. My freeze date was 6/16 and production start was suppose to be 6/28, but hasn’t been check off yet. Generally is the app kept up to date or am I wasting my time looking at it? Thank you

can you call your dealer and ask them to look through their computer? Ask him to take a screenshot and text it to you. Generally what they have is different and have dates several days after what we have access to on TYD. My dealer tells me all the time and shares screenshots with me. Having said that, I bet it will change for you on Monday.

As someone who started this process back in November and won't get my car until August, I can say that every milestone that's reached is worth celebrating. So congratulations!
