Yeah, I'm fully aware of the delays at port (and at build for some people). I sat down with my SA yesterday and asked them about this. He said there have been a few minor delays in the past few months for other deliveries, but nothing on the order for more than 2-3 weeks.

My expectations are low but my hopium is high.

Edit: Which port are you headed to?

I got to port on 5/8 and, if I’m lucky, will get on SFL Conductor on 6/22. 1.5 month delay at Emden. I’m heading to Jacksonville

That's rough. I hope you make it on to that boat. I've been seeing lots of delays to that port reported in this thread.

Has anyone had any recent deliveries come through Halifax? If so, has there been a delay? I wonder if maybe Jacksonville is just a high traffic port so there are lots of cars waiting to get through there.

The most frustrating part is that cars got to Emden on 5/26 and got on the last boat to Jacksonville. You’d think there’s a fifo or something, but doesn’t seem like it.

I got my fingers crossed for you, bud!

When I spoke to an SA at Porsche of Columbus during the 75th Anniversary celebration on Saturday he attributed the shipping delays at Emden to a labor strike. However why this translates into more recently produced cars getting shipped sooner he had no understanding. My car made it to Emden early May and sat there for five weeks before it was loaded on 6/11 for Jacksonville.

My TYD hasn’t updated so I don’t think I got on that ship.

The next one headed to San Diego looks to be the Cassiopeia Leader which is due to Emden on June 16 and San Diego on July 11.
@SS22 I see. Hopefully we'll get on the next one, but according to another schedule posted as post#14847, it looks like we'll have to wait until June 25th.

I am still hoping Lake Taupo, which should arrive in Emden today and is scheduled to arrive in Davisville on 6/26, is one of the ships not on the schedule like the Neptune Koper did to other ports couple weeks ago.

Mine is on the composer, by luck. I didnt she her on the schedule. She is supposed to be at davisville on the 17th and Houston on the 24th. Fingers crossed for a wonderful independence day.

Same here but strongly doubt by the weekend. Rumor of port delay in California but no certainty there. My car is about 3 months delayed at this rate so I only expect more despite it being “here”.

I visited my SA today and looked on the PCNA system and the dates match my TYD.

I arrived at Emden on May 25 and is scheduled to leave on 6/23 which corresponds to the SFL Conductor.

I hope all of us Baltimore bound and beyond make the ship!

Hey gang, just hung up with Porsche Austin, and apparently they can do strictly MSRP on a base 911 (optioned to $135K+). Any idea what is the realistic time to wait from ordering to delivery? Just want to have an idea from owners who have done that. I don't trust dealers, since they typically tell you much earlier, just to make the sale. And especially in this case, where I don't know them at all. Thank you.

Hey, assuming that an allocation is available right now, you are looking anywhere between 4-5 month if everything goes smoothly, to possibly 8 month if there are issues with part shortages, shipping port backups etc. if there is one available at MSRP and it’s close to what you want, you should go for it.

I bought a car from Porsche of Austin a while back, when they were still at the old location on the east side. I had a good experience. If I still lived there, I’d buy from them again.

Good luck!
