They won't make a MY25 GT3RS. They won't be able to given 992.2 production.

They were able to add MY24 GT3 cars because they are making MY24 GT3RS cars and it did not interfere with the 992.2 timeline

It’s not about trying to live in the future, just discussing when we think the facelift cars will begin based on historical runs and this unprecedented supply chain fiasco. This is a forum after all

I'm a dealer and have not been told about 992.2

if they have capacity for XX,000 911's per year, and they want to make a higher % of 3RS or Turbo S vs GTS coupe they can do it. The limit to that is CF component suppliers and niche materials like Mag wheels.

Would be interesting to see MY22 vs MY23 GT production numbers. It seems Porsche shorted production for MY23 & that might explain the small run of MY24’s to compensate.

CJ - what influence do carbon emissions have GT cars vs. "normal" 911s have? If I'm not mistaken, the GT cars emit way more and, in theory, limit the proportion of what can be made.

I am not sure why people think that they can't make both at the same time just because of a face lift on some models?

Also why is porsche in a rush to get to 992.2? 992.1 demand is still sky high

I'm fairly confident that they'll have a MY25 GT3RS, it would be unwise financially for Porsche not to build given the demand that they are seeing via high ADMs in the US and 6 figure premiums in Europe for used ones. They've already built more 992.1 GT3s than 991.2 GT3s, see the data below that I got for the breakdown for winged GT3s and Tourings by color for North America (this includes all cars that have had a VIN issued) so there will might be another 100-200 more cars which would put the total around 4,400 to 4,500 for North America. My guess is that they'll build around 2,500-3,000 GT3RSs for North America.

emissions are related to the % of EV's - so the more ev's they make the more high HP they can make before paying fees. Macan EV, Taycan, 718 EV...they add up to more turbo 911's and GT cars.

I'm doing my part on the EV front....bought a Taycan GTS and have a Taycan GTS ST that's been sitting at the German port for 2 months now.

Interesting data. Seems that shark blue is the most popular for winged, and PTS is most popular for touring, but otherwise the color preferences are spread across the spectrum. I wouldn't have guessed that, but I was torn across several choices in choosing my color, so maybe I shouldn't be surprised by this data.
